That false advertising is probably literally a crime. But the FTC can't go after them unless customers complain. So if you've bought one of these boxes to a US mailbox, I recommend reporting them on the FTC website. Part of the reason they get away with this is because nobody even thinks to report them.

You explained perfectly how I feel about piano keys and stitch in the ditch. I'm using your words to explain to my loved ones! I love all of you designs and though process. I love them both. If I had to choose, I would pick the 2nd one - love the center motif. Personally, I liked that you quilted them differently giving them each their own personality.

I really like both toppers, and the quilting you decided on. On the second topper, the corner treatment with the straight lines, and taking the small square all the way in on the diagonal line was a nice touch. I also liked how you built out the center medallion section. As always such a pleasure to watch you work your way thru things. Keep it coming.

Couldn’t help but flatly shout “nooooooo that’s AI…….” when I saw it, absolutely awful when I see it on adverts. Means they can’t afford an artist but still want the art.

I have not seen your channel before but I am glad I found it. I saw that you had reviewed a Mrs. quilty box. Was thinking of getting one. but only interested in the animal patterns. Thank you so much for doing the research. I am an experienced sewer and before I retired sold quilting fabric to quilt shops so I am kinda of a snob about quilting fabric. I have tried to find patterns similar to those advertised so looking forward to your suggestions Also subscribed to your channel

I could probably make you a cute animal base plush pattern if you want to try and quiltify that, cause there's people making lovely, cute pokémon models for 3D printing, and converting a 3D model to a pattern is possible. Just, it's gonna be blobbier cause it tends to be rounder (maybe you can use stitches, iron on stiff layers and stuff to shape that, idk, I made a few my little pony plushes this way). The AI slop has to stop.

I was not thrilled with them. I ordered a holiday box specifically. They never fixed it. In fact we couldn't get in contact with them until we commented on the Facebook page. I am not okay with service like that.

I would expect a box like that to include ALL the fabrics and batting required. It's disappointing that so many of these types of things are a rip off.

if u see any high quality, looks 'too realistic' to be a craft project, it probably is bc it's a problem with crochet pattern ads too. literally no one can make sewn or crochet dolls that realistic. if they could, they would've been seen by now before the rise of slop ai. my mom likes missouri star quilt idk if they have like quilt sub boxes or learning kits but they have a lot of tut videos, prolly many for beginners

False advertising so bad that it got me even in the thumbnail of this video. I do not quilt or have any interest in quilting, but I love stuffed animals. I clicked this video because the thumbnail made me go "That's so cute! I want that pattern!" I'd absolutely order a box that promised that, and if they sent me what you got I'd want a refund. Thank you for shedding light on their false advertising.

$50aud is a massive rip off

I don't sew, but my mother does (she teaches patchwork), and my grandma also used to (at most I can fix my own clothes, but nothing fancy or artistic). I've been able to learn several things about materials, cloth, threads, etc. My mom had taught me the difference between cheap and fancy, and the moment I saw those fabrics, I could tell they were not on the fancy side. Also, I like the way you're honest with your thoughts about this. I'l subscribe, if you don't mind.

Showing AI patterns is absolutely unacceptable imo, I would give this box a 0 just because of that.
