The landscape pictured is Baddinsgill Reservoir in the Pentland Hills, a range of hills to the south of Edinburgh which are often mentioned in Alexander's books.

The Ladies Detective Agency books are one of my favourite series, although 44 Scotland Street is wonderful too. I wouldn't be surprised if the sales of rooibos tea have increased since their publication. It's one of my favourite teas now!
My wife now drinks rooibos every day. I like the aroma, but I prefer my PG tips.
