My latest team (Platinum): Tangrowth, Machamp, Chatot, Weavile, Magnezone, Tentacruel. I have played through Platinum a lot of times (i do 1 playthrough every year since 2017) and use different pokemon everytime, still have enough pokemon (that i like; im not gonna be using Bibarel ever lol) to use for multiple years coming! Pokemon variety in Platinum is awesome

Other potential Pokémon for this team: Tarountula - literally spinning yarn. Florges - the cottony looking flowers around its neck. Sawsbuck - especially when it comes time to trim their antler fuzz. Stantler - same as Sawsbuck. Pyroar - to fit “cat” theme. Venonat - literal fluff ball. Larvesta - same as Venonat. Grimsnarl - likely sheds those wonderful locks regularly.

Really fun thought process on your planning. So interesting to have found out your favorite type is normal.

imo purples would fit WAY better with ground and/or fighting. when you throw them they make little earthquakes and of course they have 10x the strength of regular pikmin making them the best fighters in the game

i used a lot of g's in my platinum playthrough as well! gallade and glaceon, but garchomp instead of gastrodon

my first team was in fire red where i pretty much only used my level 80-something charizard. first proper playthrough was emerald where I used; Swampert, Manectric, Aggron, Hariyama, Gardevoir and Rayquaza. i also played these games on my special ds.

there's a surprising amount of Granbull and Walrein representation in this vid. And I'm all here for it. Btw my first game was Sun version back in 2017. With a team consisting of: Primarina Vikavolt Lurantis Wishiwashi Salazzle Solgaleo pretty great team imo and fun fact: Water is my favorite type, so, I guess me using 2 Water types in both Sun and Y (team was Greninja, Talonflame, Gogoat, Blastoise, Heracross and Aegislash) hinted at something.

Nice video, very cool and unique teams! My first Y team was almost the same as yours, the only difference is that I had a Pangoro instead of Lucario. I also didn't breed for a Snubbull with elemental moves and just used the one I caught in the wild. I agree that Granbull is very underrated.
