Jimmy Swaggart Interview On Jerry Lee Lewis
Grew up in South Texas and wore out 8 track tapes listening to Johnny. He had a powerful voice that made for these ballads. There will never be another JB
Charlie didn’t know how to read and write much if at all, yet he has made some of my most favorite songs. I wish I could’ve seen him live but I’m 19 now so best I can do is keep rocking with his tunes. Love from Reno, Nevada.
Always liked Charlie .... One Hand Loose, That Certain Female .....
When I was 12 yrs old (with the help of my dad) I built a small AM tube radio- from a kit. I loved to listen to the country music station and sat next to the radio for hours upon hours waiting for George Jones songs. I always loved to hear him sing.
Brilliant vid. Loved every second. Fun and education, that takes talent. Thanks!
God answered your prayers Jimmy Lee !!! Hallelujah. What a story!! People Don’t quit praying for your lost loved ones !! God is faithful
What year?
The first song he sang used to be my fav.
I want to do know what year this was done. It said 2024 but I don’t believe that because LJD has been gone for Atleast 10 years idk about Buck Owens and a few more artists. I also know this was posted online only a few months ago. I also know this had to be done at least published after 2014.
Steel Guitar Hall of Famers Weldon Myrick and Hal Rugg on steel guitars
I remember my brother bobby skinner talking about playing with Charlie in Memphis years ago.
I grew up listening to this on WSM 650 Radio.
To me Charlie was the best singer, he lived to sing and what a voice and talented men, picking guitars, just too bad we didn't heard him more, really live this singer!! Can't find no more like him today!! 🎉❤
Well hello there, I've been looking for you a long time 😮😢praise God 🎉2024 😮God knows all 😮and his son Jesus Christ is coming back one day very soon 🙏 praise God 🙏🙏🌙
He proved that going to school all your life doesn't mean nothing..for those of you who went to college, George Jones just went to the 7th grade 😮have a blessed night 🌙
Searching for Mr. Smiths live clips is like searching for clean water in fallout. Thank you for uploading
Thanks very awsome
Hank Williams, George Jones and Merle Haggard were the 3 GREATEST country singers of all.
Charlie Feathers had that mystical magic to sing and play Rockabilly that get you dancing and bopping non stop.
Do you have anything with George jones?
No I'm sorry
@@lha3954it’s ok.
Real country music!
Lived a helluva life, fame, fortune , the love of two woman and to 81 yrs old. Tough to get much better than that.
He created his own style back then and was considered one of the best but in today's world.... Some advanced beginners and the average intermediate players can do the same thing he was doing back then.
THIS IS PURE COUNTRY GOLD...IN MORE THAN ONE WAY
George Jones the Pavarotti of real country music 🎶 his voice was a gift from God
I think that’s Tommy Cash at the top.
Love these collections of dark songs. Simon Crutchfields Grave- Wilburn brothers is another good dark one.
How about, "One Dyin' and a Burying" by Roger Miller. Or "Men with Broken Hearts" by Hank Williams
👍
Thank you for this.
the greatest!
Great complication of songs
Interesting mix, will definitely be picking out the songs I end up liking.

Wow. What a historic event that was with President Nixon at the Opry.
Great job on this short film.
I got to see George in Concert ...it was near the end of his live shows ..he put on a ood show and inwas happy to be there!! Thank you George
Do you have any more of his songs? And do you have any songs of lynne burns?
I can't never get to much of George Jones. ❤
I had the pleasure of meeting Don Helms several years ago when he came to Hardy, Arkansas for a celebration show for my Mon's cousins, the Wilburn Brothers. He played for the Malpas Brothers and was fantastic on the old Hank songs. Also, back in 66, I had the opportunity to bring my group of rockers as guests on the Slim Rhodes show at the Mammoth Spring Reunion and the Great John Huey was Slim's steel player and his brother played bass. They were fantastic and John went on to great things, including becoming the steel man for Conway Twitty. I cherish these memories
