He's always been well respected. Any decent guitarist that has tried to learn one of his many songs will learn so many new things all in one song. Guy is LITERALLY amazing

You should check out the one Clapton used in the 60s. This is a custom shop replica of that one

It’s an ES335. A replica of Clapton’s during the Cream era. Gibson CS built 250 replica’s in 2005, and this is one of them :)
