Hey, I know right? When I first started with contacts there was zero videos showing lenses on light eyes so I thought I should start to represent the 8% of blue eyed people, the 6% of green eyes and even rarer, the hazel and other lighter eyed humans lol. I love doing it because I struggled to find the right ones for me. Now I just get all sorts of different lenses to show other light eyed peeps. If we are talking about lenses as light as the Crystal Ball Yellow Green I find that lenses that have a limbal ring around the Iris to look more natural than lenses without. Darker lenses without a limbal ring is ok however I have a soft spot for limbal rings.

I’ve had some of the polar lights series when I first started out my channel. I can’t remember if I had the grey but they all made my eyes really really light. I know they work well on dark eyes really well.

Hey Mate. Hope your doing fine. I started the channel because of no one did lenses on light eyes. So I’d order them and they would look totally different from the photos. So I’ve learnt from my mistake and can now take a pretty accurate guess at what colour the contacts will look like on my eyes just looking at the photo of the lens by itself. I don’t go by the promoting photo. Plus I’ve reviewed well over 100 from TTDEYE alone and love their lenses which are all yearlies btw. If you need any help you can always msg me on my Instagram. It’s exactly why I started reviewing lenses on my channel because I couldn’t find any videos for myself to see except ones on brown eyes. So that’s when I decided to review as many lenses that are put on blue/light eyes as possible and continue to do so to help out people with blue/light eyes by showing them what to expect from a certain TTDEYE lens and give an accurate look for them. I love doing it.

Hey, I agree totally. I’ve only just seen your comment and I’ve done so many more lenses since this video. I prefer wearable but because I’m a makeup artist every now and then I get a lens that I can get really creative with. If you pop over to my Instagram page I do makeup looks for every pair of lenses I receive. There are a lot of what you are talking about. @melanie6771 I’m sorry I’ve only just recently seen your suggestions and they are great ideas. If you pop over to my Instagram @defining_elegance_mua you will see many looks with many lenses on my eyes. I agree, limbal rings are a must. They define the eye.

Awesome. That’s exactly why I started my channel because I couldn’t find any videos for us blue/light eyed people. You can watch my videos but if you shoot over to my Instagram almost every pair of lenses are on there. Names in description. I edit photos but I never edit the contact lens. I may sometimes just whiten the whites of my eyes. Ttdeye are an awesome company. You can access the site in my description. If you need any help in particular colours you would like to achieve I can point you in the direction the the most suitable pair/pairs of lenses. That’s why I do this, to help people. Only 8% of the worlds population has blue eyes. Glad you like the video. I have a shitload of them on here lol.

Oh and you can always msg me on Instagram for advice. It was such a struggle for me because of my blue eyes and it not looking anything like the site photo. I’ve learnt after probably 100 pairs of different lenses how they will look just by looking at the lens by itself. I’m happy to help so you use your money knowing that they will turn out how you want them.

I’m guessing because the story is video that it won’t be in your ghost stories. Btw I looked like shit in that video. You’d think being a MUA I would have made myself look decent lol. I look terrible in it.

Oh and since I did this video things are still happening. One cold day, freezing day I was out on the verandah and I felt someone’s hot breath breathe directly into my ear. Freaked me out.

Get ones that have the name chocolate in it and look at the lens by itself at ttdeye. I love dark brown lenses but they often have a large pupil hole so you can see a bit of the blue around the pupil. I just got a dark brown pair called Chocolate Brownie from TTDEYE. They look nice and have a bit of a pattern throughout the lens. A lot of the others I get that have the name brown in them turn out green if the lens has any yellow in it. That’s why I say swipe across the photos and look at the lens by itself. Also I have a shitload of other reviews on my channel. Good luck.

Tatiana Franco it can take a few weeks especially at the moment with the virus stuff going on. When u look at a lens colour scroll down and it has shipping. Press that. Each country has a different time length for shipping. Australia is one of the few countries that comes with the quickest shipping. That’s where I am. The States and a bunch of other countries may take another week longer. But they are worth waiting for. You will love them.

Poca Hinlew thank you so much. I’m not just trying to show the lenses but specifically lenses on light eyes because there are no videos on TH-cam about that. When I was trying to find lenses I couldn’t find one video related to lenses on light eyes. That’s why I started reviewing them to help people like me. I don’t know whether you have watched the other ones but I have so many videos on my channel reviewing so many different colours mainly from TTDEYE and Pinky paradise. Also to help you a little bit more my Instagram page, every makeup look has a different colour lens in. All the names of the lenses are under the photos and which company I bought the from. That also may be of help to you in finding the right colour because I struggled big time finding lenses as they are all promoted on dark eyes. 😀

Shelle B I’m so glad you watched it. Most of my lenses are from TTDEYE. I have a few pairs from pinky paradise and recently got sent some to review from Hapa Kristen. I have a lot of videos on my channel reviewing the ones in this video. I’m actually about to upload part 2 of this video with more colours. I’ll upload it in the next 30 mins but TTDEYE Lenses I’ve found are the best so far. Honestly if you haven’t tried TTDEYE then give them a go. They have a shitload of colours/styles/types and they are all yearly lenses which is even better. Look out for my next video. I’ll start putting it on now and you can check out the colours on that video. Do you have light eyes like me?

Shelle B damn right it’s hard to find contacts for light eyes. I struggled to find a single video on TH-cam on light eyes which is why I started doing these videos. What you see on all these websites are pictures of people with dark eyes wearing contacts to show how opaque they are but when I’ve bought them they look totally different on light eyes. If you want to contact me through my Instagram which is where all my photos are of me wearing these lenses I can talk you through and help you with finding the right lenses for you. I’ve learnt from buying so many and I’ve made a few mistakes. If you would like my help to you finding the right lenses seriously I’m happy to give you more details and explain the way the lenses work etc. this is why I did these videos, so I could help light eyed people. Shelle B hey Shelle I just uploaded the part 2 for you to look at. I’m very passionate about my lenses and really wanted to help light eyed/blue eyed people by doing these videos but in finding the right lens you need to know the in’s and out’s about lenses which I’ve learnt by purchasing so many. Yes I have affiliate codes for two of the brands I’ve done videos on but out of all the brands I’ve tried TTDEYE are my favourite. But I really don’t get anything out of my affiliation. I can honestly say that TTDEYE is a great brand which is why I’ve stuck by them and stayed with them. My Instagram info is in the description box and I really want to help you so you don’t make the same mistakes I have and don’t waste your money by getting the wrong colour lenses for your colour eyes. Like I said the photos on the sites are always on dark eyes and can look very different on us but I can talk you through finding the right ones for you. But it would be much better if we talk through Instagram messaging because there are a lot of details you will want to know before spending your money like I did. I have no doubt I can help you. Yes I know most people would say ‘but they are only lenses’ but if you want to enjoy changing the colour of your eyes you will want to know all these details that I now know. I’m excited that someone with light eyes has actually commented because all I want to do is help people without them wasting their money then be disappointed in the lenses because they don’t look like what you expected from what you see on their sites.

@@traceyatdefiningelegance1250 Thank you for making these videos. I've bought several pairs of Soloticas for my light eyes. Solotica has beautifully printed contacts but sometimes they can be too bright or not a believable colour when they mingle with lighter grey/blue/green eyes. I would make a channel myself but I'm too shy! Huge help!

Auset Q no sorry I don’t have those particular ones. I’m not sure what type of look you are looking for but I do have darker lenses in some of my other videos so if you watch those reviews you might find something that you like. If you have light eyes then it’s more than likely they would look the same on you as they do on me. I do have a lot of lenses that give a Caramel look to the eyes but I find that dark brown lenses on me always end up showing the blue of my eyes near the pupil depending on the lenses pupil hole size. I struggled to find any videos on TH-cam for light eyes which is why I started doing lens reviews on light eyes. So if you decide to watch the rest of my reviews you may actually find a lens that you may like for yourself. They always look different to what they do on the site because firstly the model on the site has a dark eye and second the photos of the lenses have been slightly edited. I’ve been into lenses for quite some time now and have learnt by looking at a lens what kind of outcome I will get from the lens. Unfortunately for us light eyed people it’s hard for us to get an accurate result because every company wants to show how opaque a lens is and to do this they need to show it on a dark eye. So we are left kind of clueless as to what they will look like on us. Thank you for watching my video. I suggest that you watch the rest on mine because you might find something that you really like the look of and seeing them on my eyes you will get a much more accurate look at what certain ones will look like on yourself. Hopefully my videos will help you somewhat. I would also suggest taking a look at my Instagram because with every makeup look I’m wearing contacts and you can see much better what each colour looks like and I name each contact in the description area. A professional photo will show you a much more accurate look on my Instagram. Be warned though I do have a few that are anywhere from natural to slightly unusual lenses.
