I actually just quit today got into it with the discord mods in the official channel and was like naw fck this game i got banned for ranting 😂 cause i brought up a cheater and a md got his feelings hurt

For me it was when they rolled back plate changes and the fact that it still takes like 5 minutes just to join a damn game

The cheating epidemic is why I stopped playing.

I haven't touched EFT in years but I installed it to play SPT. Fixed every problem I had with EFT.

I play pve only as of now. Dont get me wrong im not any good but i really cant stand the cheaters. I still love the game.

Im at 7k hours and the more years that go by Im getting more and more frustrated with cheaters. And after this many hours, its soo easy to tell whos cheating and how. You can tell who has esp, who has aimbot, simple map hacks... I simply wish for them to add a spectate feature where we can que up to spectate random lobbys... because sometimes Id just like to sit back and watch randos do their thing and fight it out, and obv watching a hacker like in counter strike would be a blast because we can report the hell out of them.

Watching this dude call of duty jump around the screen and parkour off cars while shooting is a great reminder to never come back to this trashpile of a game.

Personally, I disagree with you saying that PvE has no downsides, I feel like PvE doesn't scratch that itch that PvP Tarkov does. It has higher lows and lower highs so that adrenaline you get just isn't there.

I feel like this after playing since Alpha. I started playing a month before Interchange was added to the game and Tarkov was a new beast, My buddy told me about it and linked videos from DeadlySlob and I was instantly hooked on the concept of the game, but after 7 years the game feels exciting for a new patch then I quickly dip off after reaching Max level traders. I love Tarkov but the community itself has killed the game for me long term, I hate the classification of players of Rats or Chads even if you play tactically, I hate how the game has turned from a game where gear mattered and you had to work for it to you just get to flea and buy all your items and never really bother learning "How to Play" it makes playing tedious since it feels like it being more geared towards players just using flea (Arena has definitely shown that) and it just hasnt been as fun since. I skipped the last 2 wipes before coming back to .15 after playing SPT for a while and I had alot of fun but i wanted to play with buddies and PvE gave me that and I enjoy the game more than ever (besides tasking and the PMC ai gets boring after awhile since they have set spots they patrol/camp at) its made me appreciate how far this game has come since Alpha and how much EFT has grown to be a Mainstream game even with its brutal difficulty.

If youre searching for videos like this (should i get the game) then the answer is no, you shouldnt get the game. Stick to whatever you're playing now. The game is too hard on people either you got it in you or you dont (which means u suck 99% of the time playing) which means everyshot hitting you is going to be a cheater, every npc kill is going to be a broken AI, every missed loot is going to mean yeah the servers are broken or the game is broken. Thats usually how people in Tarkov complain and then there are those like us, who just play the game and learn :D

Major critique: The wish machine is GREAT when the weapon/item you want is on the banner. Each banner has 20 pulls for 500 chrom a pull,and each has a 5% to give you a jackpot prize,the chance ramping up with each time you miss it,as on 20th you will get the jackpot prize guaranteed. lets say the L. valor banner,you can either get the rifle for 8k,oooor do the gacha,possibly get it for LESS,or in the worst case scenario,you get The rifle blueprint+some upgrade fragments for it+epic MG and other blueprints for 10k. Summary: if the thing you want is on the banners,roll for them,if not,use the blueprint shop Edit:and to upgrade the weapons,you WILL need to roll the gacha for the weapon fragments,the star upgrades arent necessary,but its definitely a notable base damage increase since it scales exponentially with everything else in your build,if you main a particular weapon,you can roll to star it up.
