How only 2 techniques made my art look like Ask's (Askziye)
Ok!
when I heard trig my heart skipped a beat lol. Regardless, thanks for the video, I see where my drawings have fallen short now!
Thanks for this.
I love your videos very much. Your perspective vedios are so good.
Nice
Highly Underrated!!!!
Wow... as a non-artist, this video was orders of magnitudes more informative than what I was expecting!! thanks!

Thank you!! ☺️
What an interesting idea!! I'll keep watching
thank you.
Bro I want to learn anatomy do I have to learn all muscles or should I prioritize them because it could save time, and I wanna draw faces like mangakas do we need another type of books or study material to learn that thing, like fujimoto art style is so cool, his female characters do give such realistic and evil vibes ❤
Ahh anatomy is pretty interesting! Personally, I don't think you need to learn every single muscle. I would suggest learning the superficial muscles (muscles that you can see on the surface) rather than the deep muscles because you will hardly see them anyway. This would include your biceps, triceps, quads etc. Honestly though, I would suggest proportioning for anatomy would matter more than the muscular system but that's just what I personally think. Also if you want to learn a particular style, I would suggest having a bunch of references from their works rather than general fundamentals, provided you already know the fundamentals that is. I also really like Fujimoto's artstyle, its got that surreal uncanniness that adds to the aesthetic of his story :)
@shipshopsheeep2 thanks for guidance bro 🤘
But how would we make this grid planes?
So from the vanishing points, draw the lines coming off that point. As the lines get closer to the horizon, the gap between the lines get smaller and smaller. If it's further away from the horizon (like if its close to a vertical line), the gap between lines are larger. This'll hopefully convey the feeling of a leveled ground.
Man that Miguel ohara moment I was fucking terrified 🤣🙌
Been trying to find a video that explains the ground level alignment/proportion thing between objects. Your car example hit the spot! Subscribed!
very good video, crazy it doesnt have more views
dude. google maps for practice is just genius
Yes, I feel the same way.😀
HOLY SHIT HES COOKING
Underrated sensei
Masterpiece thanks you
Nice video ! But would it be possible for you to upload the csp file ? Kinda want to see all layers one by one
I've included it in the description now. It should be in a Google Drive folder. If I remember the file correctly, the layers are quite messy so I apologize in advance. That's actually a really good idea! I'll try to include the CSP file in the studies from now on.
@@shipshopsheeep2 Thanks alot am excited for the future studies from u
Go on
This is some piece of content
thanks for the video!! very useful information
Great video!
👍👍
Cool video, but i'd advise to make your audio louder, i can barely hear your voice and had to rely on subtitles. Otherwise, this video deserves way more views! Best wishes.
Thank you and I’ll try to keep that in mind for next time
This was really cool to watch! Really loved seeing your study on Mika’s style, seeing the process you took was really interesting and helpful 💛
Thank you, I’m glad to hear that!!
Thanks for this !! could you elaborate more about how you came up with the value map?
Hi sorry for the late reply, Basically I grayscaled each of the 6 colors. Then I would color pick the top right, which will give a value. For example if it’s yellow, it would be something like 89. Then I would keep color picking a bunch of points that have the same 89 value and then connect the dots to get a line. Keep doing this and you’ll have a bunch of lines for that hue.
I didn't like the music, but this video had a lot of good advice. Good work!
You’re genuinely so underrated! Thank you so much and could you make a perspective video? Thanks!
Perspective is definitely on my to do list but I probably have to work on it a bit more to make sure I’m confident at it first
Wtf, is the "silly" expression looksmaxxing me?
You know, if you think about it, improving at art is just another form of looksmaxxing 😔
Waittt how are you so gaddamn underrated, amazing video
Thank you very much! 🫡
Nice video! I would lower the music though, its a little loud
Ahh, thank you for pointing that out! Im not the best at audio stuff so I appreciate you pointing that out
my dumbass thought you said autistic box 💀
NAH SAME💀💀
Actually, and maybe you know this, both types of boxes you mentioned are mathematical boxes. A box that takes into consideration the vanishing point is a box in projective space. There's a whole wide field of perspective geometry. We call the vanishing point, a point at infinity.
Actually, I did not know that and that’s pretty interesting to look at. Thank you for clarifying.
perspective is just math through a projection matrix - noob
Legs are too long, arms are too short
Most informative video about Ask I have seen so far haha. Keep doing videos. And also can you make a clip about yueko’s artstyle pls ❤
This helped me also! But I’ve always wondered what song this is?
Glad to hear it, and it is ‘Windmill Isle (Day)’ from the Sonic Unleashed OST
Thx! I’m learning how to draw better perspective this helped me a lot!
Can you please do ponn mame (1nsta) hair rendering, their artstyle is unique too maybe u interest in them
Hi and so sorry for the late reply!! This is my first time hearing about them, so I had a look and their artstyle is actually really cool so I will definitely do it at some point. I'm currently working on something so I might have to put it in the backlog for a while. Also, depending if I get permission from the artist, I might focus the video around the style itself rather than focusing on their specific works if that makes sense. Thank you for the suggestion, I now have another artist to admire!
@@shipshopsheeep2 thank youuu
Woahhh great video! Subscribing hoping for more art study content!
