The Russian R-37M is the longest range missile at 400km. It has been in the news for over a year repeatedly.
Yet an overhyped Russian Weapons System.....Perhaps Russian Propagandists will make us a cartoon!!! LMAO 😂😂😂
Thanks for another well-rounded, comprehensive yet concise overview.
Glad you liked it!
Besides these technologies, the sixth generation combat aircraft are expected to be kinematically superior to fifth and fourth gen fighters. They will fly faster and higher enabling their sensors and weapons to cover larger volumes; most current surface to air and air to air missiles won’t be effective and able to stop their penetrating counter air and strike missions! They may also have some near space flight capabilities and be part of networks to counter hypersonic weapons and settelites!
Thanks for your contribution. Indeed, lots of rumors swirling... let's see how it all plays out.
Hello
LOL nuffy
How would you feel when your concepts and technology are used to attack a Muslim country? Which it eventually would! Sure you’ll earn a big name and maybe money but what else would that earn you? Think about it!
Baykar is pronounced _Bay-kar._ Be-kar is a slur used by Indian ultranationalists, which means Unemployed in Hindi/Urdu.
The Turkish military budget has literally never been $30B, where are you even getting that figure from?? Even $20B would be an all-time record budget for Turkiye. The Turkish defense budget in recent years had been around $15B to a peak of $18B. However, due to inflation the current figure is less than $11B. As for additional state defense spending that's not part of the budget (revenue from state-owned arms firms and donations), even an extremely liberal estimate of that won't exceeded a combined tally of $14B. Going by your incorrect numbers, if Turkiye had a $30B defense budget it would be the 2nd largest budget as a percentage of GDP only behind the US. In reality, Turkiye currently ranks in the bottom half of NATO states for defense budgets, at 1.2% of GDP, with the top half of states spending 1.4% or higher.
Under $30B is what was said. Just like the official $850B US defense budget is more like $1T when you include many items related to defense, defense tech and national security. The point of course is that it’s very impressive to see what Turkey has achieved with such limited spending. You help reinforce that point further by pointing to a lower defense spend. www.forbes.com/sites/amirhusain/2022/06/30/turkey-builds-a-hyperwar-capable-military/amp/
@@DeepTechWithAmir The primary theme of your video is correct and informative. Nonetheless, your wording was still misleading to viewers. P.S. There are some online figures that might state $15B current budget or even a more than $20B peak budget, but even those figures are wrong because they're converting TRL to USD at a specific point in time but that doesn't account for inflation thereafter, since the budget is funded via TRL. The current budget is under $12B, and the peak was around $18B right before the pandemic.
@@poppinc8145 Do you think all expenditures made in a country like Türkiye are official? Turkey will continue to spend as much as it needs, as it is aware that it may enter a great war at any moment. Türkiye does not operate the military industry for commercial purposes. compressed by the west. this armament process is a response to the west.
Retro Computing has always been around. But on the scale it is now. I wish I would have not gotten rid of some my goodies. But, that was before the internet. Sigh.
Yes, you are right in that people have always drawn inspiration from the technology of the past. As you say, the scale of the hobby is now significant! It's still not too late to get some of your old computers back... patience + eBay can be your friends.
Oh, I did that. I got a nice Apple Ii+ via craigslist. So I didn't an arm or a leg for it. I did have to clean it and fix it. @@DeepTechWithAmir

Even in physical domain human diversity and dexterity is unmatched ! True animals can run faster and lift heavier than humans but none of them are are dexterous like humans and none can enhance their physical abilities with tools like humans. It’s still too early to predict AGI based on recent success of transformer models but it’s easy to get carried away.
Interesting viewpoint. Humans cannot climb mountains like mountain goats do. Or tip toe around objects as cats do. Or climb trees as monkeys do. The dexterity you are referencing is likely of the opposable thumb variety. This is not an unsolvable problem in a machine. There has been a massive change in the opinions of AI researchers themselves - not just lay people - with regards to how quickly we might now get to AGI. It is hard to ignore the progress...
Thank you for putting these short clips together Amir, these are insightful. Listening to pioneers like you makes it more interesting.

Coupled with machine learning, it can be even more effective.
