There are websites for work from home opportunities like remote work. But through my observation getting a job from India could be difficult and would depend on multiple factors like your experience, current employer if they provide with any such opportunities etc. Still haven't tried it but people say building projects publicly on Linkedin or X bring in more international opportunities. Not sure tho

@@tanmayeahh I am from India and I have joined UCC in September, I did my IRP after coming to cork in Sept. Now everyone has to book an appointment by calling a toll free number from their irish number and have to go to Dublin for their appointment.

Thanks Mayukh so for Dublin, Wicklow, Cork, Kildare, Limerick or Meath the registration is carried out by ISD hence that's the process. For people residing other than these counties need to register via local GNIB for the first time. I have covered everything in the video stamp 4, PR agreed stamp 4 is not PR but it allows you to work without needing employment permit as well as you can do your business too in Ireland. And as far as I know I had a friend who was sponsored for stamp 1 but due to some reasons the company ended their role and then they had to look for a company willing to sponsor them within 3 months either critical or general. I have no intent on spreading false knowledge. Thanks! For your input too.

Yes!! it is good to have experience because the salary threshold to get a visa sponsorship after graduation has increased and a fresher salary won't be able to meet it hence having experience is preferred. And applying to US and Australia have a look at their visa sponsorship process in US there's a lottery system as of now.

@tanmayeahh So you are indirectly saying Australia is better 😅. This salary regulations i thought it was only for UK countries. It isn't applicable to Ireland because ireland follow its own rules and law!!

This is what I had observed 1. More job openings for data domain compared to what I had seen in 2022 or 2023. 2. However the expectations are for someone with 2-3+ yrs of experience. 3. Data analyst is expected to know few bits about engineering work and vice versa.

University name matters but not that your entire focus should be on top universities. What you should look for is the course modules (content of the course). Because anyways you'll need to go off campus for placements where your skills, work ex and projects will matter most

Life in Galway is little relax not rushy and after a while you'll know most of the places and people around. Dublin and Cork are the big cities so it's more of a rush and expensive but yeah connectivity would be better all big concerts would be there and also lot more options to explore for food etc. So it really depends if you're okay with what comparison wise Mumbai or a 2-3rd tier city

I think for your field you can check indeed.ie and Linkedin (to some extent) see how many jobs have been posted there and then make a decision. Also connect with people on Linkedin who have already done it. Also keep options open if you find something good in India itself.

In Ireland UCD TCD are the top ranked universities you can check those. Then you have other universities like UCC Limerick university. University of Galway. Athlone, ATU go to their website and check out the course and modules in that course. Compare those with the Linkedin Job description.

Cyber security is a booming field and there are jobs however Irish markets have slight favor for the experience ones. With that said if you're fresher might be little tough so make projects and have a good portfolio or Internships

Get experience , cybersecurity is not really a entry level job.

Heey well it is getting bad but eventually yiu find some or the other option. During my research I felt it was a good option as I was thinking about the visa process too. Every country will have pros and cons. So weigh based on what your goals are.
