How to Choose the Best Interior Design Business Management Software
While I have been known to frequent every decent art supply store and serious stationery near me, I have taken recently to going to any estate sale that mentions "art" in their listing. I have bought a lot of stuff I'll never use, but I've also gotten quite a few nice items. I'm presently using a small six ring binder notebook from 1940 for any art ideas that come to me. Still, Choosing Keeping looks great! Thanks for the video.
Thanks so much for this video. This video needs to be escalated up in the TH-cam search engine. I was going crazy and about to buy additional cables. @LiveStreamingPros got it wrong.
watched each and every second, it was that mesmerising

You cannot miss Niconeco Zakkaya in the East Village. The BEST Japanese stationery in NYC.
@@michellem0325 they were on my list but I have so much Japanese stationery I gave it a miss. Sounds like I should get over there next time.
Thank you so much for this incredible series of stationery shops recommendations 🙏can’t wait for the next ones (especially Hong Kong and Sydney 😃)
I'll get onto them as soon as I can!!!
What a dream! I would go crazy at these stores!!❤
I know what you mean! I certainly did. I visited last year and bought a ton of stuff then as well. Everyone talks about Japan but I think Seoul is just as good!
Great advice! Thanks for sharing

Ok so I have the mirroring features working, but CAMERA HUB IS NOT WORKING. What is your suggestion?
just checking that you have managed to figure it all out?
Looking forward to the next installments in this series! Have really enjoyed the NY, London and now Seoul ones. Would love to visit Seoul!
@@jkoerner23 Thank you so much! I enjoy making them. I hope it shows!
Thank you I will try this- and my Mac is a Imac 2020 Intel Machine (Sonoma OS 14.5) and I just purchased the Elgoto Prompter and Face Camera a few days ago. Reached out to Elgoto and not heard back from them yet. But yes I will try this and see what happens.- Update- Got the Display Manager working, and the prompter has my desktop, but is frozen and shows nothing else. Ill try to redo the steps again .
There is a toggle at the bottom of the display link screen, make sure that is on. Hope you get it to work.
Ok I believe I'm moving with this. Thanks for this video, I have it working, and it's about figuring out what's happening and how it works now. And yes I can see the value in this and I'm ready to really learn and use it.
@@designinkco The toggle is enabled, but there is no picture (video of me showing like it was when I first connected it). So I have no control of the camera or my documents . The monitor features are working also.
@@designinkco I Finally got it. I believe the problem is that I was running the camera from a hub, and It needs power so I connected to the computer itself, and quit the Camera hub and restarted from the Applications folder- now it works. I'm not going to try to replug into a hub and try to run that way (ran out of internal USB inputs.
@@garyclement2888 I’m glad you fixed it. I have mine running into a CaldigitTS4 and it works but those other hubs without power won’t work. When I am feeling brave one day iI’ll try it out with the Elgato hub to see if that gives it enough power. Anyway glad you don’t have to go through the bother of returning it.
Thanks!
My pleasure! Hope it’s working for you now!
Lovely fr fr ❤❤
Great advice!! I agree that most systems lack something or another. The closest I’ve been able to find to being perfect is indema.
@@Designerfrankielarson thanks for this suggestion. I haven’t reviewed some of the other platforms because you have to sit through a sales call. I’m in Australia/ Hong Kong so if they are US based the timing is very tricky. I’ll check it out and see if I can get access to it.
@@designinkco reach out to them. They adjust demo times based on where you are. 🥰
Thank you!!!! You saved my day!
so happy to help you!
Suggestion: make the timestamps showing the preview of the drawing and interface instead of the person face, to easily navigate through segments.
Thank you for the suggestion, I will keep that in mind
@@designinkco I like watching you explain it! I feel like with a review, I want to see you talk about it, but with a tutorial I would want to see the program itself on the screen.
@@katiej4him Let me know if you would like some tutorials and I will make them. However, Rayon themselves have made some tutorials that do explain the main functionalities
I can only say: THANK YOU for your video and its solution. I would never have found it otherwise. Switched on the displaylink manager and ... all good to go! We should inform Elgato about this to enter in their quick start guide!
Glad it helped! Yes I am so surprised that they haven't included this instruction - I would have saved me a few hours of investigation and trial and error

Loved your Programa honest review. I have been thinking of switching for a while as love the clean look of Programa. We currently use Houzz but I find it really limiting at times and my clients can find it confusing. I would love it if you did an updated review on Programa now that they have released an update and new features.
Great guide. It's well worth going to Stuart R. Stevenson at 68 Clerkenwell Road too. Though more art-supplies than stationery, Cass Art's Islington shop is worth it and so is Cowling & Wilcox in Camberwell if you're south of the river.

Hello Joanne, I watched your videos about MidJourney today and found them very helpful. I work on creating renders for different parts of the house, primarily kitchens, closets, and bathrooms. The only issue I'm facing is that when I ask MidJourney to generate images from different perspectives, it often gives me four similar pictures instead. Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this?
@@karansever7049 I’ve had the same problem. Generally, it will give you an editorial look. It will generally follow the rule of thirds and try to balance the composition. This is probably because most of the images it is using have a similar comp. I have tried the prompts ‘corner of the room’ , ‘axometric perspective’ etc and have had inconsistent results. Let me do more research as it is a great question and I will link the results of my experiments .
@@designinkco I appreciated for your time 🙏. thannkkssss a lot
@@karansever7049 no problem!

Do these stores also carry stamps? Clear silicon or wood is both fine. They all look so tempting, somehow I have to focus XD
Present and Correct had a small range , but the others from memory didn’t have any that I saw. You can get a huge selection online but unfortunately not as fun as shopping in person.
@@designinkco Thanks for the reply! Shopping directly is much more fun indeed. But well, if shops don't think so.... 😅
Ok. Never going near Goods for the Study. I swear I could wipe out half my kids’ inheritance in one visit - “I’ll have seven of everything please”:).
@@toniblackmore3016 I had to restrain myself. I have bought so many notebooks this year that I haven’t got to yet, I just couldn’t justify it! But it was hard!
Thank you! They are on my list to visit now! I’ve been to the Kinokinuya in Sydney which has a good selection of books too.
The do, Kinokuniya is great for the basics.
Can I ask about the little book of patterned papers at 15.16 please? I am looking for very small pads of varied prints and this is just what I am looking for
@@puppetsnippets6830 I got that at Choosing Keeping. It was under GBP8. They were in a pile Nr the front window. Hope that helps.
Lovely to hear a fellow Aussie expat (although I’m in the States). Struck by the coincidence, at the time this video was released I’d never heard of Cambridge Imprint, but not two hours ago I unpacked my first order from them, and completely agree, the labels are lovely. Glad your channel “turned up” in my recommendations.
There stuff is lovely and I'm glad you enjoyed the video
❤
Well done for making a beautiful video about the lovely side of London.
Thank you. Glad you liked it
Your video is really informative and comes at the right time to me. I'm flying from Germany to London this Friday and love stationary stores, so definitely will visit Choosing Keeping and maybe more. I do myself junk journals. Also would love to find items made by Tim Holtz, but can't find any from London.
I think Tim Holtz is stocked by craft stores more than stationery stores- mostly found online. I’ve never seen any in a bricks and mortar store.
Ever wondered where the best stationary shops in London are? er no.
Haha. That’s because you were expecting the wrong kind of store! I made a video on ‘stationery’ not ‘stationary’. 😂 You’re missing out btw.
I love the London Graphic Centre as it seems to have most things I need. With The Journal Shop in Shoreditch, I believe most of their online stock is held in a warehouse outside of London and that’s where they dispatch orders from. I found this out as I wondered if I could collect an online order from the shop as I was nearby, so I’d defo call ahead if you wanted to check out something in particular because “in stock” online won’t reflect what’s on the shelves.
Thanks for letting me know! I had such high expectations and was so disappointed.
@@designinkco thank you for the great video. Nice to have a few other places to pop into if I’m out west. And yes, because their online stock seems pretty great.
Thank you for this! I knew about the ones in Covent Garden and visited them on a birthday trip last year, but the others are new to me, and will definitely be on the list for this year's trip!
What a perfect activity for a birthday trip- you need to leave some more hints for this year!
Your "h" are soooo long 😅
Must be my Aussie accent! 😊
Loved your film ❤
Glad you liked it! Thank you so much!
I liked the video but the music is too loud.some parts were very loud that I barely heard you.
Thank you for the comment, I agree it's not perfect. I am still working on my video skills and have just learned about ducking, so I hope my videos will improve in the future.
Thank you for this video. I really miss Paperchase, especially the big one that used to be in Fitzrovia, when visiting from Australia. Now I have some new haunts to try on my next trip!
Paperchase closed down over COVID-19. The price point here is slightly higher, emphasising handmade goods. I do miss Paperchase, too, though. There were plenty of things for kids that I didn't cover in this video. I used to take my kids there whenever we visited. I think introducing your kids to creativity is so important and having nice stationery makes the experience fun for them.
@@designinkco I shop in all price/quality points, if it has pencils and paper I am there, lol! My “kids” are in their 20s, so only shopping for my inner 11 year old these days 😊
@@zengirl524 haha- you and I are alike (my inner 11 year old self has a lot more pocket money though) . My kids are in their 20s too but I can always brings a smile to their faces with some stationery!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I am glad you enjoyed it
Not in London, but if you’re ever near Leamington Spa, Berylune has an amazing range of really desirable stationary. (And loads of other beautiful lifestyle and homeware items too….)
Thank you! I will look it up. There were a couple of stores outside of London that I wanted to visit- hopefully, I'll get a chance when I am next there.
Wow - looked it up online and they have some great stuff- 2.5 hrs away from London so I will have to find a spare day in November to visit!
@@designinkcotrain from Marylebone is only 72 minutes and Leamington Spa is a lovely day trip. This video was so beautiful and helpful. Thank you.
