Hi! Welcome to my channel. I spread awareness and information about endometriosis, bipolar, and ADHD. I was inspired to create my blog and this channel because of my lived experiences with these conditions and the fact that there's so little information about them. Not to mention no one likes to talk about these things because it's awkward and embarrassing to do so. But, I want to help others like myself to get the help they need and create a happy and healthy life. I hope you find some value from these videos and that they help you on your health and wellness journey.

Help, I really need to talk to someone. I am felling so bad. I am bleeding, almost fainting, super tired and I NEED to vomit but I just cant... My hips are killing me and am in the middle of nowhere without anything for my period...
As a test, refrain from all dairy for a period of one month. At 46 years old, after drinking 1-2 cups of milk daily for 2 months, I experienced period nausea for the first time in my life. It is my belief that dairy may cause nausea during PMS.
Another infuriating thing is that at all the yearly female checkups the symptoms were completely dismissed or shrugged off. The only thing ever offered was the birth control pill. Zero interest in investigating it at all and even though I expressed interest in stopping the extreme bleeding, a possible hysterectomy, etc. It was all completely shoved away because oh you're so young. You are young. Don't worry about it. You're young. If it's still here later, you can worry about it. We don't give a s*** you are young that can't happen. You're young. You can live with it. You were young. You're young. You are young. You're young for decades. At what point do you stop hearing that nothing you go through means anything because you are young? 65? after menopause? No because I'm sure at that point they just tell women it's menopause and it's also normal😂 Don't worry about it. You are young. Nothing is wrong with you. It will all go away and you'll be young until you hit menopause, and then we'll tell you it's normal to suffer because you're in menopause😂 yikes
It's so crazy to me that only in this last year did anyone even consider endometriosis as a possibility for me. I've been to zillions of doctors. So many specialists hospitals all over the country. Emergency rooms everywhere and this was never brought up until this last year when I finally ended up with a gynecologist that had a side specialty in endometriosis. Just had my laparoscopy and it has completely taken over organs and my abdominal cavity. I've had horrible violent periods and terrible symptoms that check every box of every video I've watched in the last year. That should have been red flags all along. It started with my period at 9 years old. I am 36 and just now like a week ago. Got an official diagnosis. So insane.
I am currently nauseous and cramping so bad. watching this helps sooth my anxiety from this. thank you for the helpful tips!
I thought i was pregnant coz i have all the signed, but then i got period today. It’s my first time to be having nausea for my 17yrs of pms.
Can you have ALL THESE but no endometrioses?? In the ultrasound it looks normal but i have ALL THESE symptoms, what else could it be?
I haven't been able to eat my nausea is so bad today. Had to cancel my exercise class bc I know I would be naseous during the entire class or more embarrassing, vomited in public just with the movement. I never used to have nausea before my period, it's just been in the last few years that I've aquired these new symptoms, as if the horrible pain wasn't bad enough🙄 I often feel I have to plan my life around my period which sucks. I'm grateful to be working from home for the most part but I often have to travel out long distances due to the type of work and it's amusing sometimes that I have to look at three calendars, the work, period, and personal to plan and make sure I'm not traveling too close to my period. There was one time I got my period on a plane and I had such a horrible time, during the landing mind you! The poor ladies I was sitting next to thought I was having nausea bc we were landing and one guy offered me a ginger ale thinking the same lol😅 My mom was the same way with pain and says that her period pain became non-existent after she got married and began to have sex and kids, and I'm not going to lie I've momentarily thought of doing this just so my cycle symptoms improve but that might probably bring a whole other set of problems lol probably worst nausea. Doctors have done ultrasound of my pelvic area before and they say it's just normal for me. Some days I just want to leave my body sigh Thank you for the recommendations @FemmePower, will see if I have peppermint tea left
I went through the same thing as a young woman. Thank you for highlighting this issue!
My mom suffered from heavy periods and it seems like I took after her and I'm her only daughter. I was also diagnosed with pcos, hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's. It seems like as I got older and now that my Cycles are every month instead of 6 or 3 months, the pain has gotten worse. I have experienced extreme stomach upset with what you mentioned with diarrhea, nausea and feeling a fullness and even with losing an appetite. The cramping and the body aches are really intense and the pills do help but then after a couple of hours later it goes back to that. I think the worst part is when I am PMSing with me going through extreme depression anxiety and crying spells where it disrupts me but then when once I get my period I go back to being my normal self. Also my periods get very heavy where I have to wear diapers and a pad so I don't stain the bed sheets. I know that that is not normal and I hope I don't become like my mom to the point where I have to have a hysterectomy to stop my period. It actually feels like having the flu as well which apparently it is called the period flu and also the condition that it seems like I have is pmdd which is a severe version of PMS which describes my exact symptoms although they say that anxiety meds and birth control help but they really don't help the full problem but most doctors don't even know what pmdd is and so they just say you have anxiety and just take some antidepressants.
Anyone experienced blood in stool?? I’ve been having painful periods, cramping, bloating, constipation and now blood in my stool. I have a doctors appointment next week
Thanks
Im at the start of the video. My period came rour days ago, and i threw up. Yesterday i ate a sandwich and at 4:45 AM i threw it up and threw up again at 5:45 AM. i really really hope this helps out because i dont know if right now (10:14 AM) i should throw up or ease the nausea.
Yours was the first helpful piece of content that actually mentioned something related to what I'm trying to find out. I'm diagnosed already. My endometriosis appeared in the ultrasound before I noticed any symptoms. Or did it? Cause, see... I had everything, besides the intense cramps. I had cramps in the past , when I was a teenager, but it stopped. Maybe because I started taking counterceptive, I'm not sure cause no one answers my questions about the endo. But I had the pain during sex, I had so intense bleeding that I would have to use the night pads on the day. The urgency to pee, and peeing too frequently. Strongly constipated for days in a roll, having to take laxatives, fiber supplement, etc, to be able to poop. And the pain, in the year that the endometriosis showed in the routine ultrasound, I started having debilitating pain flares all over my body, but specially on my legs, abdomen, backs and neck. But yes, everything hurts. And no one can tell me why. So they referred me to a rheumatologist, who thinks it can be fibromialgia, but today I was in the toilet with my stabbing cramp and my poop pain, and my legs started hurting and my feet hurt just the way it does when I go to the ER in an healthy anxiety attack (yes, I'm bipolar and I got several specific anxiety comorbid) thinking "my legs hurts too much, it's a clot, it's gonna travel to my lungs and I'm gonna die"... And the Doctors, because I'm bipolar and anxious, says, it's psychological... See... I'm examining... There's nothing... Here's a benzo.... Some of them sometimes give me something for the pain. I'm taking notes of which ones work to tell the rheumatologist. But anyways. Yes, I know I may have both conditions... But I'm sick of being told my pain is from my "mind" just because I have a psychiatric history. Back to the beginning of this comment... It's been very hard to find anything related to pain that is not in the pelvis, lower back or legs, and is related to endometriosis. Does anyone know if endometriosis pain can irradiate to other areas of the body?
It's been beyond frustrating. The last two years I've been to 2 different primary drs, and neither could give me a reason behind my pain. I was told to go see a GI dr you might need a colonoscopy. Went to a GI dr only to be told you probably have ibs, so do this diet and just watch what what you eat. Of course, I've also been to my gyn, and she told me it's completely normal having pelvic pain, but I guess she was nice enough to send me for a vaginal ultrasound. That came back clear, so back to square one for advocating for myself. Was studying and researching pcos and now I truly think this is what I've been struggling with all along. I cannot imagine the women who didn't find out until many years later. This pain is debilitating and miserable!
I feel horrible thank you
I been going through so much I was put on birth control first then put on provera. That didn’t help so I had a D&C they thought that would help. But it didn’t I end up having to do five rounds of iron transfusion also had to have blood transfusion. Bc as fast as I would do a blood transfusion once my cycle came. My blood count would drop well they scheduled me for the ablation surgery. Couldn’t do it bc my uterus was too enlarged so the did the UFE surgery for fibroids. I had this surgery last year on my 45TH birthday this year makes a one year. Well I’m having problems been bleeding for two and half weeks. Also passing small/medium blood clots this is crazy to me. Bc as of Monday 9/30/24 I lost 10lbs today is 10/1/24 and I’ve lost another 2lbs without even trying. I’m having a lot of pelvic and stomach and lower back pain. As if I’m in labor I’m tired and barely have an appetite I just want to sleep bc I feel so drained and tired
Every power frustrating my life be destroy in jesus name
Could predominant bloating and constipation every day be a sign? I only have pain in pelvis and back and basically feel awful on day 1 of mt period. No painful bowel moevements, but they're NEVER complete
Ive been having ovarian cysts every month, had ruptures 4 times. This past time, I am done. I am going on birth control and having the surgery as soon as I can. Went to the hospital friday for the 3rd time this year because the pain was so great. I am tired of this. I have two cysts this time, one on my right (which ruptured) and one on my left. I didn’t want the birth control because I am trying to concieve with my husband. But I cannot deal with this every month. It's too much and it makes me not want to live when the pain is so great and I know that I am still not pregnant after 2 years. I hate my body.
Bro im babysitting but i cant get up i feel so sick ty
Watching this on my period after realizing not eating for 3 days on my period is not normal 😂. I have a super debilitating pain on my lower belly between my belly button and the top of my vulva. It feels like there’s some massive swelling that hurts when I’m bleeding and when I have some digestive movement happening. I also went from being super flexible to not being able to bend down or touch my toes because my lower back is hurting so badly. I scream with every bowel movement too. I thought everyone had that
It's in the middle of the night/morning. I'm so nauseated, yoh 😭
It was challenging and unbearable because of how critical my health situation was. but I am grateful and happy to have ordered Dr Aluda herbal supplements on TH-cam which I used and it shrunk my multiple fibroids completely💯💯💯
Felt like i was going to be sick. Got in the bath tub and soaked in the hot water for 10-15 minutes. It helped
Thank you so much! This video was so helpful
I don't have a uterus anymore so the days leading up to and during ovulation are the worst and it's debilitating. And yet I'm still undiagnosed for endometriosis. Or anything. 😭
Wait whaaat?? I thought that having a hysterectomy meant no more ovulation either?!
@@natlacaz8283 Partial hysterectomy: remove most of the uterus but leave the cervix Total hysterectomy: remove the entire uterus Radical hysterectomy: remove the entire uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries Oophorectomy: remove one or both ovaries Salpingectomy: remove one or both fallopian tubes Tubal ligation: getting tubes "tied" (Removal is preferable over ligation due to many ovarian cancers beginning in the tubes as well as for reducing the risk of ectopic and extra uterine pregnancies.) So a radical hysterectomy is a total hysterectomy with a bilateral salpingectomy and bilateral oophorectomy. The ovaries cause ovulation, so women with no uterus can still ovulate if they have one or both ovaries remaining, just like women who have a tubal ligation will still ovulate, there's just a road closure for the eggs trying to reach the uterus. Or with hysterectomy, the ovaries don't know the uterus is gone so they keep trying. I hope that was helpful! People aren't usually taught enough about female bodies and female health so you aren't alone in being confused. Many people have been confused when I've mentioned ovulation and PMS after my hysterectomy. 👍
This video was so helpful and spot on with everything I’ve been experiencing. I’m so glad to know that I’m not alone in this battle!
I'm just starting to get bloating and all the things you said at 7:25, also the pelvis thing, bowel movements, etc etc I'm 30 and I'm shocked as I've been trying to look wtf is going on, this is the 1st time I've experienced so bad 🥲🥲🥲 Tysm sister, I feel pretty sad tho, but I'm gotta take action
Ive had a procedure bit they werent a specialist. Doc states she found nothing and I just need birth control.
Man being a biological woman sucks. Please just take it out! (They refuse to take it out).
3 cm the line of my endo No symptoms
My wife has debilitating pelvic pain during ovulation. Like she lays in bed and/or the bathtub for 3-4 days. Here’s the kicker, she’s already had excision surgery for her endometriosis and fibroids. The excision surgery helped with her period, but the ovulation pelvic pain before her period has almost gotten worse! PLEASE. I beg of you to help me find out what’s wrong or where to start. Could the doctor have missed something or done something wrong? Please help!
I have terrible ovulation pain too. I have endometriosis, fibroids and adenomyosis. The pain during ovulation can be much worse than around my period. I was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which they say can be triggered by the endometriosis. I've just had xray, ultrasounds and mri, and will egt the results soon. If something new comes up, hopefully I'll remember to come back and let you know!
I found one who listens to me and my pain they help me a lots I found out I had endometriosis in 2009 when I come back home to New Orleans after hurricane Katrina in 2005 I have stage 4
I have an iron deficiency and I’m on my period now I came across your video I feel so bad can’t eat I been sipping on water I’m cramping alil bit but I still feel like I want to throw up I’m on day 2 yesterday was very bad 😢 I’m going to try your remedies thank you
I'm going threw the same symptoms of Endoscopy)
I also have Endometriosis & it's very debating to even nearly walk or move physically Ong it's very painful)
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Video)
Every time i have my period. I get nauseous during the day, and sometimes I can't even sleep at night because im so nauseous. Even in the early morning, I will wake up feeling so nauseous like I am about to throw up. It is comforting to know that I am not the only one suffering with this.
I only have very painful periods if I don’t take a pain killer during my periods I think the pain can kill me I have never not taken painkillers so I can’t even imagine but that’s my only symptom do u think I have endometriosis? Cos my period pain can’t be normal
Great points and video, sis. Not overexplaining ourselves and having to justify why we can't/don't want to participate in things is huge when it comes to family and friends. At the workplace, we usually have to share more (and it often makes sense to), but hopefully most of us are surrounded by supportive friends and family who don't mind making the kind of adjustments you mentioned in this video.
Primary Umbilical Endometriosis - the struggle of trying to explain to the docs that it's a thing is REAL! I need help. This video is the pep talk I needed to continue speaking up for myself.
These are all really good points. We have to be SO careful with how we distribute our energy and not taking too much on with endo. Thanks for sharing your journey with us! I've just found your channel.
THANK YOU for saying we don’t have to accept birth control. every time i complain about my pain there’ll always be someone to say “if it’s that bad just go on birth control”. like hello?? the side effects are crazy
I was diagnosed when I was 21 I’m 39 now. 4 laps. 36 miscarriages, yes 36. We kept trying in between children and we are lucky to have a family with four children. My last lap was June 23 it’s now April 24 and it’s back a few weeks with a vengeance. I’m on cerezette back to back and do not have a period so the endo will not grow. But last week I had a breakthrough bleed. It was a substantial amount of blood and came fast. Sorry for the TMI. It was frightening to say the least. My pain is in my right ovary (the knife like stabbing pain) the all over intense cramps are in my abdomen, tailbone and groin. I’m so so tired of this. My Gyne and GP refuses to offer a hysterectomy as “I am too young” I know this won’t cure it all but with having Adenomyosis also (diagnosed last June) I want it removed. They keep saying it will lead to more problems. I’ve seen women very happy after their hysterectomy. What am I missing? 💔😩 I hope everyone here is having a pain free day. But if you’re looking up this like I was you’re probably not. Stay strong. We are in this together. 💛💛💛
Mine was chronic before, as ir is again. no matter my cycle or lifestyle. My sisters was worse during her cycle before both our surgeries
I am so happy for you to be able to share your story, I grew up the same way. 5 years ago my sister was able to find a surgeon for endo. At that time i had spent at least 4 months finding any dr to take me seriously and not think I was a pill popper. Now 5 years later I am going back to the same surgeon even now I moved out of state and I think it is worse. My husband and I will try 1 year to have a child but after that I will have to take some hornones so it doesn't come back again. Thank you for sharing your story, its very special and encouraging for many women.
Happy to share after 10+ years I'm finally getting my laparoscopic procedure on Wednesday!! 🎉🎉🎉
how was it?
My daughter fast the whole day . And take off from school . In Spain women take a day off for period. Here of cause no😊
You forget infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. Many of us with endo do NOT have pain with periods whatsoever and aren't diagnosed until we've spent $30-40K and had several failed embryo transfers with IVF.
