QuadLock USB phone charger install on a BMW R18 First Edition
I have a BMW R18 that I love but it lacks a port for a phone charger. There are a couple of videos showing how to install chargers on BMWs but I could not find an English version. I'm by no means a professional, but this video shows how I did it. BTW How many bolts, tools, etc.. did I drop in this video -LOL

    Hey i had a question, im putting away my leaf blower for the winter, I cleared out all the gas, can i leave it in my shed where it will drop below freezing? Or will that ruin all the seals? Should i store it inside ? Thanks 🙏

    Is this just a Philips screw driver?

      No. it's a Torx. The tool usually comes with the blower, but if you don't have one I think it's a T27.

    Thanks for posting this, I'm about to do the job, along with coils and plugs. One thing that needs to be said: IF you have Zimmermann rotors, or other coated rotor types, don't spray with brake cleaner. It will remove the protective coating on them.

    What about oil change for the bg86?

    • @BottomBasher
      @BottomBasher 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Doesnt need oil. It uses a 50:1 gas/oil fuel. Its a 2 stroke not a 4 stroke.

    What is the maintenance interval for these items? 100 hour of run time? More? Also, How tight did you take the spark plug? Do I need a torque wrench for a particular torque? Finally, does that fuel filter just "snap" back" into place???? If so, that is brilliant!

    • @nojobtoosmall3518
      @nojobtoosmall3518 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sure there is a "so many hours" rule, but I do it once a year. It's probably too frequent based on my usage, but it's relatively easy to do and not that expensive. I don't use a torque wrench, just snug it down with the wrench included with he blower. Yes, the filter just snaps on.

    You forgot the spark arrestor

    • @aussie2uGA
      @aussie2uGA 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The spark arrestor is such an overlooked item! It can cause the machine to bog and not stay at full WOT. Many people then think it's a carburetor issue.

    Very nice presentation. Where exactly is the jack point for the wooden stand you use ???

    • @nojobtoosmall3518
      @nojobtoosmall3518 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a jack on the area just behind the front wheel then slide the wooden jack stands under the car to a solid looking point. I lower the car slowly to make sure it is well supported, but still leave the jack in place for added security.
