I know this video is more than 2 years old and nobody is watching the comments anymore but I'd like to know where did you get the plans for this? I haven't seen a link to it yet. I've wanted to build one of these but I want it in Adobe bricks as I live in the South West, like in the Mojave Desert of So Calif. I know you mentioned the place you got it from, but I'm looking for a link to it.

Dude unless your time is worthless, your material cost you a few thousand percent more than what the actual dollar value was..... took you 2 years worth of effort to buy it all on the cheap... it would have taken 1 weekend worth of overtime to pay for all of it at 20$ per hour. I see this all the time on these kinds of DYI videos and people think they saved so much money by piecing things together over the course lf years and investing 100x more time than it should take to get the materials and never think about how much their time is worth. If people put some thought into it they would realize their cheap materials cost 100× more than brand new materials they can get immediately.

You don't understand hobbies. They're not driven by saving or making money. They're for the pleasure of the experience, however firebrick for forges cost a significant amount of money unused. These aren't regular house bricks they're made for higher temperatures.
