Nice video series. It would be great to have a full walk-around or even more hero still images taken from different angles showing the final configuration without the scaffolding. Great job on the build!
You should be so proud of your work! That is amazing. I really appreciate you posting this as it will provide exceptional guidance for my own project. Thank you
Dan, Thank you. Proud of the skills my father taught me. Even though I had not done brick masonry before my youth was spent watching and helping. Such a rewarding accomplishment. Hope it is helpful to you and others.
Thank you very much. I enjoyed the build as much as using it. I’ve used a wooden forge with clay; and a 55 gallon barrel with a “disc”. This is my first real forge. And I love it! Thanks for watching. Thanks for the comment.
the video is good, and so is the forge, however as a Norse pagan, I would like to point out that The Triquetra isn't a Christian symbol, and doesn't represent the father son and spirit, rather it is originally a Celtic symbol, later adopted into Nordic culture it represents the triple goddess, the maiden mother and crone, which in Norse mythology is Freyja also known as Frigga, representing phases of the moon, and in Greek mythology is usually Hecate as the crone, Demeter as the Mother, and Persephone as the maiden, representing the stages of womanhood.
Amazing job. Now that I have a permanent residence, I’m looking to tackle the same project. If you were to buy the materials new could you place a price with today market?
David, I used 600 standard- and 75 fire- brick; 3-12X12 liners, 15 bags of Quikrete concrete and 9 bags of Quikrete mortar. Add the fire pot set up and you’re looking at a several hundred dollars -new. I bought all brick second-hand; Quikrete at discount or with coupon from HD. I have $600 in structure alone. Worth every penny.
I know this video is more than 2 years old and nobody is watching the comments anymore but I'd like to know where did you get the plans for this? I haven't seen a link to it yet. I've wanted to build one of these but I want it in Adobe bricks as I live in the South West, like in the Mojave Desert of So Calif. I know you mentioned the place you got it from, but I'm looking for a link to it.
the Trinity Celtic knot(Triquetra) has come to mean that is Christianity these day but it is in fact much older dating back to pagan time before Christianity come here to the UK in around 597 AD
A beautiful piece and work that is a great legacy for years to come... Great craftmanship. Forge on and God bless.
Very nice. I admire your determination throughout.

Looking good. I'm wanting to do something similar, where can I find plans for the chimney? Thanks
The only plans I could find were on Pinterest. They are available at pin.it/1hX3bWs and pin.it/1Tba6tQ. Everything else, I made up as I went along.
@@burnettsforge Thanks, I'll check them out.
