@@gabelopez781 Bare minimum Grang to summon Quem to at least end the board with a Quem on it (I don't play Lulu, I think it sucks). Beyond that though its about the other two cards that were in the hand, and play pattern may slightly change based on that too. Opening a second bystial to summon after Nibiru and then do the Lubellion tribute still will work, or if they Nibiru later then Seal/Albaz fusions in grave will continue extension. High Spirits also helps with rebuilding on the end phase with the Albion/Titaniklad grave effects. All in all not that different than how Despia plays through Nibiru with the addition of Bystials and Hieratic Seal

​​@@YamiElut first of all, nice video. I'd like to watch more Branded Synchro content. The difference in Nib interaction compared to the regular build is pretty big I'd say. Assuming that you resolve BranFu in the classic build, your opp gonna drop the rock once you have put on the board MJ, Albion (which means follow up) and so. If you summon Guignol, the Quem that is summoned with its floating effect can potentially reborn MJ. On the other hand, this build has choke points where Nib alone means no Regained set up, sometimes having committed to summon Dis Pater, hence difficulting its come back into the board. I really do like the Bystial Synchro lines, and it plays slightly better than the regular build around Fulwalos, even Dominus Impulse (Impulsing BranFu is devastating cuz no Thrust). But it's true that Nib is kind of an issue to face with this deck, alongside other low impact hand traps that thin your endboard.

@@l3ctro418 for sure if a more linear line is taken for Quem>bystial>dis pater>reborn from banished>lubellion then nib threatens direct regained access. Thats why its so nice to open two quick effect bystials to get regained first. Just pointing out that a lot of the goals are similar in both builds as far as fusions in grave, granguignol, etc

I remember hearing about it when it came out, but I have not tested with it in all honesty. My main hang up is that it does not count as a proper summon, so no reborning Dis Pater from Regained, no Albion/Granguignol effect on summon etc. Would like to know more about what the use cases are for it though.

i have a few on the channel but they are months old by this point, so its somewhere to start definitely with some tweaks to mainly the extra deck (Baronne banned for one thing and Luluwalilith sucks imo)

@@haggred2064 for sure. I normally like my builds in the 43-45 range, I dont usually do the 50 or 60 variants but I've seen plenty of people have success with each one

And being fusion locked in a fusion archetype isnt the end of the world, but part of the purpose of this variant is for much more flexibility than despia, which is why a lot of people opted not to run opening and instead max out on something like high spirits Retaining that flexibility was meant to combat a lot of post-side tech cards like d barrier and anti spell when it was still at 3

The point of Branded Synchro (the normal build without grass and with handtraps instead of board breakers) is to have more flexibility and handtraps than regular Branded Despia and to abuse the fact that Seal being able to summon Albaz on the opponents turn makes the card a crazy endboard piece. You also focus on normal summoning Quem instead of Aluber as her synergy with Bystials is really strong. You aim to grind games out with Regained and focus on making Mirrorjade and/or Furious Dragon mostly on your opponents turn instead of on your own. It is a completely different playstyle and a lot of fun if you like the more midrange-y playstyle of resolving Regained and Magnamhut every turn. Branded Fusion in the deck is basically just a last ditch effort if your other plays get stopped or you open with only Quem+Albion or you can use it going second as a board breaker. This grass build to me seems worse as you lose a lot of the defensive capabilities your usual handtraps provide and can less consistently open the broken Quem+Bystials combos.

@@sephnickel9516 bridging into s:p for effect, hieratic seal, and putting things like albaz/bystial aluber into the graveyard if you need something in grave to summon bystials and have no better beginning play. Synergy with Chaos dragon package as well

answered another comment similar to this but in that example I gave regained is CL2 to shuffle back the mirrorjade in banished before CL1 Lubellion resolves. not to use the mirrorjade in banished as material to summon itself. lubellion and albaz would still be the materials after jade is returned to the extra from branded regained

The example I gave was if Mirrorjade is shuffled back as CL2 for Regained, then CL1 Lubellion can remake Mirrorjade because it is back in the extra

I assume as long as he has a valid fusion target before mirrorjade is shuffled back, it's a legal activation

@@davidecrocetta1999 no, because the wording on those is different. Rather than "unaffected by activated effects" specifically like PEP, the raidraptor towers are written "unaffected by other cards' effects"

@@themoonlitduelist7395 thats a no to both. If Branded Lost is up once Branded Fusion resolves as CL1 the opponent cannot activate anything in the next chain

@@themoonlitduelist7395your chain will resolve, then chain link one Branded fusion will resolve. Once that chain link resolves and the fusion summons, you will not be able to activate anything, not even your monsters summon effects until the last fusion with no trigger effects is summon like mirrorjade or sanctifire. But if they chain their summon since you cannot, you will not be able to respond to mirrorjade or sanctifire thus getting gimmick puppet.

@@themoonlitduelist7395 yeah, im a branded player but either ban all the lock summon cards or ban sanctifire. They should have put “effects of special summon monsters on your opponent field are negated” or something.

@@EloffMusketeer that is correct. The attempt can still be made to negate but under Branded Lost the fusion would still resolve

@@primaditya1318 under Branded Lost Albaz can be negated if his effect is negated, but the activation will be protected. Example: Imperm will still negate Albaz under Lost, but Apollousa will fail to.
