spoiler but it’s crazy how in alan’s attempts to get out he’s unknowingly transforming the dark place and dark presence into a more dangerous entity. you can see when he says monstrous things trying to become me he reimagines scratch from american nightmare to become the same entity as himself. how he realized that immediately and the tape cuts is brilliant
