I'm so glad they are not changing the Music. If there is one thing that the original game needs no fixing on, it's the music. This will also be the second game I will ever preorder.

The sound Mickey makes when he’s eaten by the blot is perfect because he sounds like he’s screaming inside of a liquid like someone drowning.

I remember I played the sequel like 5 time over so I’m excited to play the original finally.

...this is a remake, right? cuz ngl just looks likes a really easy cashgrab remaster. not saying the games going to be bad but i dont think they know what the word "Remake" is after looking at this.

This is the first time ive heard about this, and I'm HYPED! If it is just a remaster, i wouldn't even be mad, but i hope that they at least change enough to leave a noticable difference. If they were to add to it, they could pull stuff from all the unused ideas from leaked concept art and animation tests, for instance they could add a puzzle using the shock collars from the original version of Zootopia. The only thing i dont want added is Marvel/lucasfilm stuff.

Apparently, they're working on improving a lot of the weaknesses of the original (like the camera, among other things.)

It feels a bit brighter, cleaner, and less eerie to me. I hope they change the lighting a bit

i wonder how faithful it will be cause i dont remember mickey having that one move he does in the origional, were we able to quickly throw ink benief us mid air back then too? also, i would welcome certein changes, that will balance out the lack of motion controles as well as some add´s to the side missions that make em more rewarding as well as bigger consequences to our actions but only time will tell i guess

In the clocktower's image I noticed the leaning of the pisa and the eiffel tower are the only shown landmarks, I wonder if you destroy them in the European boat ride the cut out versions will be destroyed aswell. Also in the clocktower's image and the shot of the eiffel tower there was a hot air balloon that didn't look the epic mickey 2 model I wonder what we could do with that, lastly the colosseum model changed to look more realistic.

I’ve played the only the second game on my Xbox 360, when I was little (and I still play), and I always wondered what where the previous events to follow up that game… can’t wait for the remaster!

I feel the same way about paint being too bright but it's not got a date other than this year, so it's still in development. But I LOVE everything else about it, especially the new gameplay mechanics and costumes in the leaked footage which I recommend checking out. The only other thing I complain about in it is the new HUD which I'd hope they'd allow you switch between the old and new; But that's a nitpick personally. I also love the changes to the projectors in mean street and Clock Tower boss to give a more visible entrance to where you come from instead of appearing on the platform; Its that little attention to detail in a remake I love. If you played the Battle for Bikini Bottom remake they did, as a big fan of it, then you can expect a high quality remake that's faithful to it entirely while giving the game a HD paint job; Plus some cut content implemented back in as well. With costumes tho, I hope it includes hero and scrapper Mickey as unlockable costumes for completing Paint/Thinner playthroughs and carry over into other playthroughs; That's how I'd do it. Plus bonus costumes based off other concept arts like one where it's based on early beta Mickey/when Mickey didn't use a brush and shot paint out his hands.

Dark and gritty mickey game

I was in kindergarten when I wished for the 2nd game on the win so this game was a big part of my childhood 😢🎉
