I think you should revive but if you dont want to you could use the parts for new portables

I would like you the build a new version of your porabile I would like to see how a new 2020 version of your porabile will be like with new games and new features.

Imo you should reuse parts, it is a waste not to, and the console was too short lived. Give it some more life.

Fix
They make little temperature actuated relays. Put one of those on the power input rail and if it gets dangerously hot the system will turn off
Awww!? That's unfortunate.!
I dont know if you re did this or not by now. but my suggestion is make a resin cast shell, make it wider rather then thicker and put a glass screen to protect it. Thank you for the insperation
