มุมมอง 2K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Come on a journey with us when we were invited by Lance to look through his Speedway Museum at his home called THE BIG SHED! We get to see his #Vintage #Sprintcar he is building to run at speedway exhibition meetings, along with an original 1984 #Bathurst 100 XE Ford Falcon driven by #BrianCallaghan and Barry Graham, the car is a time capsule from that race! In Part 2, we will see another famou...
I saw all 3 cars run at what time that was .I will say but real race cars don't have doors .
Happiness is a warm Grey.
Whatever happened to the original Ol’ 55?
Hey man they are some very cool old spring cars 👌🏻
Hey mate yeah they are great blokes who share a passion and showing their cars at exhibition meets is keeping the memories alive!
I was 3, Im wondering ,you mentioned Liverpool! There was a club movie night, the movie was people sitting on the road and advanced frame for frame like they were driving, spinning wheels crashing with all the sound effects and it was funnier than a nun wearing the popes silly hat! Just trying to get the title of it, if you or ayone else is remembering that, cheers.
Hey Darryl, I think your a regular on the Liverpool Speedway page, ? Maybe ask some of the experts and drivers that might have been around in those days!
What a surprise this is! Go the Linklater and congratulations to Terry and everyone involved.
Thank you Steve for your kind comment! I appreciate your support! It was a great era back then! You and me both are trying to keep the memories of these glory days alive!
Just my opinion, but for what it's worth, I have seen the beautifully restored Stewart Trackburner up close and after viewing Alan Steele's slot car model of the same car in this video, it looks closer to the original than the real car!! The other Alan Steele midgets in this video look unbelievably good as well, like to see more of them. What a talent, great work Alan.
Thank you for your input. Well, we might just have to get Alan back on to show some of his beautiful slot car/ models! He does brilliant work!
My great friend from High School, Alan Steele. His connection with the #55 Linklater car has stayed with him for life. IMHO I rate it as one of the most beautiful and consistently well presented midget speedcars of its time. Thankfully he didn't relate the story of our dabblings with the Mighty BSA Bantam. 😆😅🤣😂
Oh thank you Dylan, for sharing your story about Alan, I have been chatting to Alan in messages etc for a while,, and with technology (zoom) we finally met up! Alan is such a nice bloke, he went out of his way to help us work this Zoom call stuff out, and we appreciate it 100%! Yes the Linklater was surely a standout of the speedcars along with the Trackburner from the era! Thank you for your comment and we hope you enjoyed our video!
i reckon you need to rename the title of this ! speedway nsw? you should have more views than it has! Always loked that Torana at Liverpool, on both tracks
Pennahill pub ... must know the linigens
XE raced in 1985 in sports sedan racing.
A very interesting synopsis on the Larry Burton car .
Good luck mate :) love the videos
Thank you heaps,Ryan, keep a look out for more in the future!
Very good viewing Terry. I spotted the little mini in part 1 and straight away remembered it from Liverpool speedway. Well done.

Congrats Terry. A wise old man (and Australian Grand Prix winner) once said to me, "There are gunna do's - and there are doers." With video 1, you're now a doer. I look forward to No. 2 and the many to follow. Regards, Barry Green
