great video bro just found the channel and subbed.
Thanks man 🙌🏼
Daman bro, you giving me anxiety. I just hang my radio and goggles down my neck and ride my bicycle to my closest park. They just hang around and slam against each other. 😓I probably need to carry them more safely.
Lmao I mean, do you. I bang around the radio a little more than I should, but goggles are so damn expensive I try to take care of them. Some are def. more durable than others
@@DanielJohnFPV Well goggles I have Integra and it doesn't bang around that much since it's tightly hanging around my neck. But the radio is loose and it just jiggles around like a pendulum.
not really clean build ))
🙌🏼🙌🏼
@@DanielJohnFPV u can hide all cables under esc or fc . worst way is top of fc ...also u can twist cables for clean build <3
cool video man. and THANKS for the help!
Glad it helped 🙌🏼
Wow I wish I have something like that too nice video I'm from Philippines new subscribe😊
Got it! 👍
😂😂
great video and amazing lighting and editing your underrated dude keep it going <3
Thanks man! ❤️🙌🏼❤️
Okay…she’s got it😂
😂🤪
What about powering on the radio without an antenna for playing a Sim?
The radio will still be attempting to send power through the antenna. Unless you turn off TX somehow (may be possible in the menu), it's a good idea to attach the antenna. Attaching it is definitely the easier way
i designed a little clip for the balance lead so you can clip it to the battery lead savely murphys law of fpv: everything thats lose will end up in the props eventually
Great video. just got into the hobby and used this too see what i might need, and what to tell family members to get me as a present if they ask XD
Cheers dude 🙌🏼 I almost titled this vid “send this video to your mom” 😂
Thanks for all the gift ideas!! Great video to share with family members too 🎁 🎁 🎁
Thanks for watching!
Ive been flying fpv for 6 years now, never did a single minute on a simulator. Back in 2018 there was not many of them around anyway, it was simply trial and error method with my very forgiving walkera rodeo 110. That is how my brain start to grasp all this acro flying. Big open grass area and off we go😅🚀🚀🚀
I'd love if you interviewed people after guerrilla whooping.
It's interesting that you say that. I had actually scripted a portion of this video where I would interview random people and ask them what they thought about the drone. I just couldn't quite make it work with the video, so I ended up cutting it. Maybe I can try again and think it out a bit more.
I've been looking at getting a quality drone (I'm as newbie as the get) but don't like the sacrifices I would have to make in choosing say a Avata 2 vs mini pro 4. After watching this video I've been thinking 1. This could save me a few dollars since I have a Hero 10. 2. I'm fairly handy and with patience I could build one of these. So, questions: 1. What goggles do you use? 2. Is it hard to connect them? 3. Are you able to add obstacle avoidance. 4. Are you able to add "Return to Home"? Thanks for ANY and all advice! Subscribed! Great job on your videos!!
Appreciate the kind words! It sounds like you are debating a traditional camera drone vs an FPV drone like the one we build in this video? While I'm obviously a huge fan of FPV drones, they are definitely REALLY difficult to fly. They are completely manual and will fall out of the air without input. They don't have any obstacle avoidance at all, and we crash them often. You can technically get return to home by using a GPS, but it can be tricky to set up and you can easily lose your drone if done incorrectly. They are also surprisingly expensive lol. All the little pieces will add up to over $1000 for sure, and probably closer to $2000. Now don't let me dissuade you - they are a ton of fun. While it is difficult, I have a lot of fun building them as well. However, FPV is a very deep rabbithole lol. I'd definitely suggest you watch some of my beginner tips videos and go from there!
@@DanielJohnFPV Thanks! I believe I'll stick with a DJI. At least until I've got some experience. Seems like it would be far smarter.
@@travelingwiththefishes2652 they are definitely a great intro into the hobby!
Great video, you win a scrib, I wish I had the patience to do these types of edits. Curious on what flight times your getting on this beaut. you definitly have some great editing skills, keep em coming. Beautiful area to fly also, I live in south Louisiana so no hills, just swamps and canefields but I do look forward to flying somewhere like this one day in the near future.
Cheers dude - it takes forever to edit lol. I actually grew up on the coast of MS. It has been raining here in Washington constantly so I haven't been able to give it a proper test for flight times. With mild throttle and a GoPro, I'm expecting ten minute flight times using these LiPo and LiHv's. I think that could could up to almost 15 (optimistically) without a GoPro. Eventually, I'd like to see if I could push it to 20+ with a Li-ion.
Happened to me something similar once, flying behind a cell tower, my heart definitely skipped a beat 😂
I'm already convinced I'm going for the turkey 25 and the gopro bones 10 🔥🔥🔥
🙌🙌
Loved it.
haha❤😂😂😂😂
use blue loc-tite, jeez. All them screws coming loose after a couple flights.
deep dive for battery plss
Hey man where is this?

Oh yea I remember mistake #5: First flight, first new 4s ..ratattattaa + sparks.. well well.. nice video
Only yellow wire need to be disconnetted?
Yellow and the grey GND right next to it.
Is there still merit to buying the 2.5" pre-built drones vs a QAV-Pro 2.5" build? If cost was no issue. Which is going to give a better professional use?
Build vs buy, you mean? One of the nice things about a BNF is that it comes pre-tuned. You just throw on your VTX of choice, and you're ready to start flying. If you build, you will have to tune it - sometimes you can get a decent tune quickly or use a preset and everything works fine. Other times you're chasing an issue down for ages. I haven't used the QAV-Pro platform, but I know a TON of pro pilots that use it regularly and enjoy it. Honestly, I think that is because in the cinema world everyone tends to use the same exact gear - even if something better is out there. It isn't inherently better or worse than any platforms I think; what it really comes down to is intimately knowing the platform you fly. If you're flying 5 packs a day for months, you will REALLY learn how the drone acts. You'll be able to get the same shots as other people on whatever drone you pick. I am curious about the QAV-Pro though; I might pick up a frame and do a build someday.
One Mo FPV bag?
Yup
I find this very inspiring. Insane video!
Cheers dude 🙌🏼
What about thr FPV part? How did you connect the headset with it?
The O3 air unit had a tiny bind button on it - the goggles do as well. Press both bind buttons, and they should bind. Just make sure you’re fully updated
Is that the dead cat frame?
Yup
@@DanielJohnFPV oh cool
Good
Are you from Spokane? That mall looks very familiar!!
I was in Spokane when I made this! In OR now
I would add to the list of beginner mistakes: When learning to fly, don't mount expensive cameras like GoPro or Osmo Action on your drones. Learn to fly first ;)
I've definitely made that mistake lol
excellent work bro... nice and clean
I see your are running the o3 with the goggles 3. I want to get them aswell but I heard there is a major issue with the reconnecting of the vtx if u lose signal. Did u encounter anything similar?
I actually did experience this bug when flying a different drone. The drone lost video reception, I flipped to angle and punched out, but never got reception again. Luckily I was in a remote but walkable area, and not over any people. I’ve switched back to the Goggle V2 for now until they fix the issue. Hopefully they fix it soon, because I enjoy the goggles 3
Learn how to sloder goof..... you have no buisness doing how-to.... videos.... my daughter is 11 she can build a dronw better then you.
Fantastic!!
🙌🏼🙌🏼
hey r u back? you want 2 fly. we even got Jessy Lopez. im ready 2 fly ru? great vid buddy.
I’ve moved on to Oregon and Washington now! Next time
wait till you find out they already released the pavo20 pro and it's even more fun with more juice!
Wait til you find out BetaFPV sent me this drone for free to review 🤷🏼♂️
Do you fly it in full acro?
Yeah, pretty much only full acro except when messing around LOS
If you ever get a chance to check out OddityRC whoops I would do that. They are the most solidly built whoops I've ever seen and they have a 20, 25 and 35 so they are sized like the Pavo. The ducts on these are able to help increase thrust at higher RPM's unlike the vast majority of whoops. My 25 feels so close to my 5 inch drones and I do some mountain surfing with it but you are very right that you can't hear the motors beeping unless you are right on top of the drone. I've made sure to turn on my GPS telemetry on my Tango in case I lose it and my screen goes black before it finally stops crashing down the mountainside. It's definitely the most fun drone of the many I've owned over the years!
Great video, I laughed out loud when you decided to fly the mall and then the playground sans kids 😂. Looks like fun! You’re right, the people who glanced at you seemed not to care. 🤷🏼
I was so nervous 😅
Hi Daniel, great work. Appreciate your efforts.Flying over people, my heart too keeps beating fast. I was a bit confused whether to go with the Pavo 20 Pro of Pavo 25. I nee something below 250. Im in germany and rules here are strict, so need to be careful. But I want something to fly in the wind too.
Appreciate that! Pavo 25 will definitely be a bit more stable, but you'll have to use a TINY battery and definitely no action cam. I have a short on my channel showing the weight of the Pavo25.
you might wanna try the Pavo 20 Pro!
6:57 I highly recommend doing like 3-5 minutes flying goggles per day for a few weeks minimum before attempting hand launch and catch. If line of sight turns you into a confused and shaky mess, hand launching becomes much more difficult and dangerous.
Good job🔥
🙏🏼🙌🏼
