(Celeste) Strawberry Jam - 74 - Silver Strawberry!!! [hardest]
world's most balanced golden
okay so this is like crazy, my hardest went from being my longest golden ever to being a golden with a grand total of seven rooms.
one can imagine that for a golden with this seven rooms and 2 minutes of gameplay to be harder than the 40 minute long behemoth i pulled off last year the map would have to be an absolute doozy and you're completely right. this map is like impossible. dense buffer chains, tight turnarounds, awkward movement, timers and even a hard feather right at the very last room.
but more than that, the map is. quite backloaded.
still honestly mostly enjoyed the grind until like the last two sessions. it's a map i'm quite fond of and i like the way it handles its difficulty in comparison to a lot of modern maps. this will probably be my hardest for a while.

Time: 40h21min + (6h34min clear)
Deaths: way too many
Tier: Tier 6 (old tier 5)

Yes, this is absolutely worth the hype. If you're somehow still unspoiled on any aspect of this map at all, do not watch this. This still holds up nearly two years later as one of the most beautiful and impressive maps in Celeste history and it's not a particularly close fight. Nice Job! Sorry i put so many disguisting decorative spinners in the most annoying spots, especially all over the a-side. My b 😅 Good learnjing lesson even though i didnt make any more mods after this for celeste. But still! i learnt always prioritise gameplay. and also i shoulda got more playtesters lol. the map was really fun though! when you're doing beginner gameplay it's honestly fine to just set up cute spinner decos and make u move around them also shoutouts to Ezra for doing this run but with A-Side FC like i originally intended! They're my goat and got super unlucky with the run too

this run is deadass a gateway drug endurance golden and i say that in the best way possible. massive, massive recommend for anyone who's interested in that while not... mentally prepared for big endurance grinds with actually difficult gameplay. it's genuinely awesome. Also yeah I was really overdue on doing some actual endurance on this channel x)

I played every kirby game up to Return to Dreamland, and recently I've gotten a pretty beefy pc that can hopefully run all (legally obtained unless proven otherwise) recent games as well! I'm a long-time lover of the series and I love this mod because of how it recreates Kirby environments :)
