If the price ends up being reasonable enough to pick up a playset, absolutely. Ulcanix is really strong and while I don't know exactly what the lines are at the moment with that card included, I'm confident it's at least worth exploring and very likely worth running

Absolutely correct! This was my first time playing with these cards, and I neglected to read them as carefully as I should have. Fortunately in this situation I don't think it had any significant impact on the duel overall though

The banlist didn't really change the combos at all, just the end board since obviously apo is gone. In her stead you've got options like s:p or silouhatte rabbit, or you could go for things like knightmare gryphon or topologic bomber dragon. Really you can build any link board you like more or less, that's the beauty of the tri brigade cards. Now, ulcanix coming out almost definitely changes things, but I've not tested with that card yet so I don't know exactly how at this time

I didn't have a side deck when I played this, there's really not a lot of room for non-engine. Even in matchups where you would want to side the bystials out, taking 7 dragons out of the deck feels bad. I guess that makes phantazmay a pretty good option. I also think droplet is good, since the rulers work just as well with resources in the grave as they do in the hand. Lava golem/sphere mode are good since the deck doesn't need its normal summon if you don't open red rose exactly, and lava golem being a fire could come up for blaster/burner

Thanks! Searching ghost meets girl there was definitely the right play in hindsight, but I tend to really value getting yuki-musume into rotation since she's so good at filling up the grave over time

@@Alasterrific Thanks, I'm glad you like the deck! The schism package is definitely worth considering, obviously establishing winda is extremely strong. You'd probably be best off cutting the Zeus package from this build to make room for it. Also, be mindful of white knight, as it locks you out of the extra deck entirely when it's on the field. Probably not worth running it with the schism package for that reason, even though I personally really like the card

There are things you can do in certain scenarios, like if you have kirin in hand you'll want to prioritize using your fire tri brigades so you can kirin pop them to dodge imperm for example. But unfortunately this deck is just inherently vulnerable to hand traps and if you don't have the extension to push through that's just the way it goes sometimes. If you don't have crossout I'd put in talents and maybe thrust so you've got more cards to play past hand traps. And generally, if you can summon bearbrumm on or before 5 summons then you'll at least be able to get to revolt even if they nib you. As for goddess, that's kind of an awkward card since using the tri brigades restricts you into only being able to use tri types as link material, so if your opponent doesn't have a tri type monster you want to out, goddess isn't really doing its job. If you really value to summon from grave negate and can afford 5 link material it's not a terrible option, but there is that limitation you need to play around

@@matteo1599 the Tri-Brigade links are essential, except for rugal but he's still nice to have and even if you don't end up playing him I'd still own a copy. Almiraj is important, as it turns some unplayable hands into playable hands. The ancient warrior link is a very strong option to summon off the tri-brigade effects, but probably isn't strictly necessary. None of the other links are essential. They're all serviceable options, and I think they're among the strongest options (though I'm currently testing a pretty radically different build), but you can pretty much go with whatever links you want. Keep in mind that once you use a tri-brigade on field effect you're locked into only using beast/beast-warrior/winged-beast as link material though

Avramax definitely has its merits, but I think I'm going to swap it out for topologic bomber dragon and focus on having that, revolt, and kirin+ponix in hand as my standard end board. The harpie link and feather storm sounds like a really strong plan in the side, but i personally don't like playing turn skip cards like feather storm, so I probably won't incorporate that in my build. Silouhatte rabbit would be very strong in this deck, as it is in pretty much any deck, but I don't currently own that card, so I'll have to do without. As for light heart, what would that do for the deck? I could see tri-heart being a decent option against Tenpai, but Im not sure what light heart would do unless I played a scareclaw package or something. As for how I do, I have the duels I played uploaded to the channel so you can watch for yourself if you want. At this locals I went 1-2, but it was also my first time playing this deck so I wouldn't necessarily take that as an accurate assessment of the deck in more capable hands

@@sweepinbelle fair on all accounts. Light heart is niche but helps you in some situations that are suboptimal or if you get hit by certain handtraps to go into a link 1, and then a link 2. You can also make s:p little knight a bit easier with its banish 2 that way.

@@thaaqibabrahams4095 if you have 4 tri-types in grave and two names in hand, you can normal one, banish 2 for ferrijit, ferrijit summon the second name, banish 2 for bearbrumm, and link the two names and bearbrumm into gryphon. It's a high-roll scenario for sure, but when it comes up it can be real strong

I can't think of any new cards that would be particularly good in pure Zefra, between the scales locking you out of pend summoning out of archetype and the way path works the deck really doesn't play well with outside engines. Unfortunately I don't see this deck evolving all too much unless we get new support in terminal world 2. That being said, Zefra cards can be really strong in other decks, with ritual beast probably being the best showcase in the current format

@@flameblade9892 You can do it in 5 even if you tunnel vision on getting just toad/dragoon. You'll need synthess, and djj in hand for how I spell it out here, but there are other hands that do it 1. Set synthess 2. Scale djj, flip synthess 3. Search guitaar 4. Summon djj from scale 5. Scale guitaar, discard to summon drumms 6. Drumms make synthess water 7. Synthess copy drumms effect 8. Synthess make djj water Then you have two lv 4 waters, so make bahamut, then summon toad. It's 5 summons, but you likely don't have the gas left for anything else

I'll be sure to check out your channel for inspiration, I had a lot of fun with this deck and am excited to see what you've been cooking with it!

Wow, that's a super cool idea! It wouldn't work in the deck as I present it here, since the purpose of the two level 6 synchros is to make Beatrice, but that's definitely something you could do instead. Maybe keep the coral dragon and swap the malong with muddy mud so you can fuse coral and mud into dragoon and still get the draw from coral, which guarantees you have the negate online

Unfortunately, that wouldn't have worked as you outlined because synthess effect to search could not have activated under droll. That being said, I could have made exceed to get djj, scale guitariss to get both scales to hand, scale djj, flip synthess, normal guitaar to reborn drumms, trigger djj to summon, and I'd have the materials to end on the dumb exceed + Beatrice board that this version of the deck was designed to do, a board that would be an extra deck lock, a monster banish, and a card bounce. Obviously I didn't see that play at all at the time, sadly, but that would have been really strong

Alternatively, if I were piloting a less janky extra deck, I could have ended on a 4 mat apo + toad by that same process

Definitely playable. The deck's biggest issue is consistency, due to there simply not being enough symphonic warrior cards to facilitate the fact that every combo requires 2 or 3 cards. But when you draw a playable hand, the deck can really pop off, and the type and attribute changing effects of piaano and drumms respectively gives the deck a lot of versatility in terms of end boards. It won't be winning any big tournaments anytime soon, but it's a ton of fun to mess around with

Good to hear from you! Times have been pretty rough for me lately, but I'm getting through. How's Digimon going? I've been thinking about expanding into other card games, and digimon's definitely on my short list of games to try
