The way I understand the WWE ID Program, in a nutshell, I believe that it allows wrestling schools around the US (for now) to act as remote/satellite Performance Center sites. WWE has announced (so far) that 5 wrestling schools in the US have been selected as ID sites. If they can spread the training all around the US (and hopefully Canada) it allows them to expand their pool of talent. I think the ID Sites is WWE's way of getting rid of the static location of the Performance Center in Florida, especially since there's talk of WWE HQ moving from Florida to Las Vegas. As an indie wrestler, regardless of how much hunger you have, not everyone can afford to travel/live/train in Florida, but now, more talent can train closer to home and still potential get a shot at a WWE contract. So for instance, Hayden Bright is currently raising money to go train at Elite Pro Wrestling in New Hampshire, which has been chosen as an ID Site, and it's currently the closes ID site to the Maritimes. So once he starts training there, it will be like he will be training at a WWE Performance Center in Florida. And if the trainer/WWE "scouts" like what they see, then the contract talks come into play. I think it's a fantastic idea.. We can all attest that some of the boys here in the Maritimes deserve a shot at a contract somewhere and this is a step in the right direction to create more opportunities for indie talent to climb the ladder...

Randy Orton was on Cody's "What Do You Wanna Talk About?" Interview on the WWE TH-cam channel a couple months ago and the question came up about how much time he has left to wrestle and he said that as long as he stays healthy, he would like to wrestle until he turns 50. (He is currently 44 years old). If you haven't see the interview, you should definitely watch it.. The 2 friends get a little emotional talking about their careers.

I believe the new ugly, ass green and "diamond" belt is gonna been seen once a year at Crown Jewel. It's a fucking Saudi Trophy , that's it.. something to make them feel important..

In my honest opinion, AEW is built now but they need to build their future. Takeshita, Ospreay, etc. Need their time with the World Title. Build your future and give them credibility before it's too late. Ospreay has so many matches to be fulfilled himself.

26:50 Injuries nowadays vs back in the day is a different mentality. Back in the 70s/80s/90s and possibly even the early 2000s, when a wrestler got injured, unless it was like a broken leg, they would wrestle anyway, because, if they didn't wrestle, they potential didn't get paid or were scared to be replaced and in some cases they were dropped to the bottom roster or never given another main event run. Where as today, companies like WWE, AEW, NJPW, etc. know that they have to take care of their rosters, their assets. (Most of) these wrestlers are the companies long-term investments. They dish out millions of dollars in travel, accommodations, training, promoting, merchandising, etc. for these wrestlers and if they get injured, the promotion needs them to take the time off to repair and recover, because these companies cannot afford lose their money making assets and start over at square one with a new talent, every time someone gets hurt. This is going back to the point Corey was talking about at the start of the podcast about losing wrestlers before they even get to retirement age. (Cancer is not wrestling related) but if we look at most of the guys we watched growing up, they are all in wheelchairs, crippled, going for stem cell treatments, etc. If promotions focused more on the health and rehabilitation of their rosters back in the day, some of them guys may still be wrestling or better et, still be alive. It's a different mentality in 2024 vs 1994.. for the better I believe.

No crazy stipulations, no weapons, no outside interferences.. It was a pure talent vs talent match, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better match, especially an indies match, anywhere in Canada, maybe even North America. Speedball Mike Bailey is a true legend in his own right, but Alex Silva is not only putting himself, but the Maritimes and North Pro on the map. Silva has 2 of North Pro's biggest matches, this one and, the hardcore match against Hubley. I have a feeling there are going to be a few more coming down the road. Thanks for uploading this match "Bros.", it's much appreciated!

For one or a million.. I can't speak for the other 999,999, but I personally can't thank you guys enough for doing these episodes (including the Maritime Wrestling ones). Like you guys, I'm a busy guy, and I don't have time to watch as much wrestling as I would like to, but I make time to listen to you guys every week, so I can stay on top of all things wrestling. All your hard work, research, filming, editing, and doing this when you're tired, sick, have a headache, etc. doesn't go unnoticed. As a fan and a friend, I want you to know that you guys are appreciated! Much Love and Respect!

running commentary while i'm watching: - absolutely cheered and clapped with delight on misery's entrance. i've never been more enchanted as a first impression. the ice cream bike absolutely kills me and I cannot wait to see what angles they play with misery. - hard agree on dave boyce & henderson kite being the best. they bring such depth and humor to the stories and genuinely make the business better. - also hard agree on LG being the best heel in the maritimes rn. his first match as a wrestler also happened to be the first wrestling show I got to see live, and it's been wild to see his journey in the last few months. this guys pure magic on the mic, it's like catching lightning in a bottle. - I'm pretty lucky to get to go to most CCW matches due to working in the area. I think that some of the CCW power comes with the routine of it being a monthly show + having strong local support + making strong use of their social media presence. Plus the crews all been super chill with me lurking around and tossing fanart at their talent which is always a bonus for me lol.

It's gonna be some great wrestling at North pro

I think either Silva vs Speedball Mike Bailey and Moondog Dylan Davis vs Sinn Bodhi will both be phenomenal matches
