All of my Minecraft songs are in vanilla Minecraft; no mods. The downside is I can't really adjust tempo, but I wanted to keep it all vanilla if possible so if others want to learn how to make songs they don't have to get any special software.

I developed my process to make songs in Minecraft for over 3 years now, so yes it's a lot of work but it's generally straight forward now. Takes about 1 month for me to make a song depending on what else I have going on.

@@binarypearl 3 years?! Thats some serious dedication. I like how you improvised with the 8th/16th notes since you couldn’t do triplets.

@@w3t_wlpes Yea, triplets are a challenge in Minecraft. In this song, I used 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/16th pattern to mimic triplets as close as possible. In other songs, it's possible I used a different pattern of 1/8th and 1/16th's. It's a lot of trial and error to see what sounds best. In my cover of 'The Maid and the Pocket Watch of Blood', I actually used all 16th notes in the beginning which are technically triplets. But since they were all triplets and not mixed with other note lengths, it works well enough. Once it gets out of that part then I use my normal rhythm (redstone repeater 1 tick delay=1/16th, 2 tick delay = 1/8th, 3 tick delay=dotted 1/8th, 4 tick delay=quarter).

One of unintentional things that happened in this video is towards the end where Marisa blinks. It was just luck (I think) that stable diffusion drew frames in such a way that simulated an eye blink. Perhaps in the future, might be able to control things like: from frames 100-130, blink right eye, or from frames 200-300 wave right hand back and forth.

Thanks! This song was tricky because the beginning part has triplets, which can't easily be done with redstone circuitry. Since all of the notes in this section are triplets without any other note durations mixed in, I ended up making these 16th notes instead, and then used the correct note duration for the other parts of the song. (Using a redstone repeater, default 1 tick delay = 1/16th note, 2 tick delay = 1/8th note, 3 tick delay = dotted 1/8th note, 4 tick delay = quarter note).

Thanks! I reallly like chronondecays transcriptions as well; I have used them for both Minecraft and playing piano.

Stable Diffusion had trouble recognizing the characters, and it ended up being a colored ghost like thing, so I just went with it.
