Three wonderful projects of the young Engineer.Restoration
Hello! I want to put you, 3 of their projects, which I had to restore and implement their own ideas, for a better look, and ease of use.
The first of these was the restoration of the vise, which was stationary and non-rotary, and I wanted to refine and fabricate the rotary mechanism to use it in my work.
My second project was the restoration of the old sapper Austrian pickaxe, unfortunately, time greatly destroyed the metal leaving deep shells, I had to process the metal with various chemicals in order to remove the salts that corrode the metal, and gather the magnificent appearance of the pickaxe. I also made a handle from solid wood (Yasin) and wrapped it in a dark chocolate color that gave the ax a wonderful not repeated look.
My third project was the restoration of an old small dagger that was destroyed and lacked where any details. So I had to make a new garda, but for the handle I used birch bark, which is very strong and light in weight, but it looks not superior.
