Sorry, no idea if it will work with the PS1 mouse as I haven't got one to test it, don't think it mentions it on the back of the case. I think over the years I've got used to playing this sort of stuff on console, so it doesn't really bother me anymore. Yep great memories, it can be almost impossible to put it down! I put 100+ hours, but to be honest I'm probably massively under-estimating! I put it on noob difficulty for the recording as I hadn't played it for ages, but after 10 mins it all came flooding back! What a game! Many thanks and happy gaming 😃

It almost seems the wrong way around to me, the bigger richer channels feeding on the smaller ones, surely it'd be better if they used their "influence" to help others as opposed to just trying to milk them for all they're worth. I wish it hadn't started with Granny's Garden! 🤣 The Facebook group surprised me a little as it's a pretty big group, but yes you're quite correct, I'd sooner deal with people that don't have their heads firmly wedged up their own behinds! I don't have the time for arrogance or egos, and as for some of the TH-camr phoneys... Being pretty new here I don't want to come over as negative but sometimes find it hard to bite my lip. I want the channel to be positive and embrace all aspects of gaming and collecting, and mostly be a place of enjoyment. If I ever fall short of the values I'm preaching I truly hope you guys let me know (and give me a right good shoeing for it), as I sure as hell don't want to end up becoming what I hate! It was a great machine, so many games I can't remember the names of. My favourite was Underwurlde which had its own special type box, so pleased it was part of Rare Replay on the XBone. Was my first taste of Out Run too on the few occasions I got It to load after what seemed like three hours! 😅 Thanks so much for watching and happy gaming 😁

@@soupofpantsgaming I am glad you did, nice to hear the story of your gaming journey. I vaguely remember them big hard disks at school, I remember a game for the mega CD called night trap. A game a played through quite a few times. Always stay true to yourself you don’t need to be flash to be genuine 😉. I may make a debut in the new year ☺️

@@paulrobinson5788 I used to have Night Trap back in the day, I was pretty terrible at it to be honest, never got the whole way through. I loved the Mega CD, still have my original machine, but went to fire it up a couple of months back and it won't load anything. It's on the (growing) list of stuff to fix! I'm happy to be anything past rambling nonsense, but if I could shoot The Matrix every week I probably would! 🤣 The first upload is the hardest I reckon, you just have to close your eyes and go for it! 😁

Good call. From my opinion it's highly unlikely I'd ever have a duplicate of a grail anyway, as I have so few things that I'd consider a grail. I don't have much in the way of duplicates anymore as I'm trying to keep my collection fairly streamlined. Many thanks and happy gaming 😃

We watched Twin Peeks for the first time a year or two ago and I've been trying to pick a decent copy of this up on the 360 since! Mad pleased to have got it, just need to find the time to play it now! 😆 I miss the buzz of new-releases too. I think part of it's an age thing, but they just don't seem to land the same these days with so many of them being buggy flops. I used to go to the midnight releases back in the 360 days, sad to think it'll never be like that again. I'm kind of looking forward to BO6 next month, it's been a while since I've played COD, so imagine I'll likely suck at it. May even do a little review on it... That's cool, took me a while to find a good disk for LOS2, so pleased to tick it off the list, was expecting it to be a last gasp CEX gamble. Looks like Zone of the Enders HD may end up being that now as there's nothing around my way 🙁 Very much doubt I'll double-dip on these unless they turn up super-cheap somewhere. You may even get them cheaper next year as the FOMO dies and the market readjusts towards normal, I could well be very wrong on that though! Happy gaming and collecting mate 😃

Still got a few gaps, but they never seem to stay as gaps for very long! 😆 Thinking my pick ups may slow down a bit after Mission 360, but I remember in 2017/18 saying that I was going to buy less games, instead I just changed what consoles I bought them on! 🤣

That was my thought back then too! It just had enough little inconsistencies with my other copy I knew was real to make me question it. On the 360 I've seen plenty of fakes (not just the expensive games either,) the sleeves are usually pretty close , but the disks are obvious, so without opening it I always had a bit of doubt. I think it's fingers crossed on Serious Sam then, was kind of an impulse buy if I'm honest! I remember being really worried the first game or two I got with a loose disk, but I almost expect in now with PS4 games. I think the Blu-ray disks are pretty tough, it's a good job! I suck at beating games, I do try to, but find I'm easily distracted and have countless games half finished that I've promised myself I'll get back to at some point. I tend not to see it as a must to roll credits on everything, there are plenty of games that I've had enough of after a few hours, so I just move on. I view my backlog as the games I've not started, and it's insane at the moment. I do quite like having a bit of backlog as it gives me variety when choosing a new game to start, but I really need to buy less, play more! Xenoblade Chronicles is one I'm meant to be going back to, the Wii version that is, awesome game though, hope you're enjoying it 😁 Thanks for watching and happy gaming 😃

Yep, I try to keep as regret free as possible! A couple of minor regrets on things I should have picked up cheap but didn't, but not a lot for the stuff I've moved on out of my collection. Thank you for watching and happy gaming 😃

Exactly. I'm kind of cheap too, but get the odd more expensive game if it's something that I really really want/need! 😆 The most important thing to me is the disk, then the sleeve, I'd prefer a manual but it's not a deal breaker if it hasn't got one, and the case so long as it 's a standard one is always replaceable. When looking at old Nintendo stuff, I actively avoid cardboard, sure it looks cool but for the premium I could buy a lot of other stuff that also looks cool! Hat's off to those who collect cardboard, I just don't want the responsibility for it whilst degrading it by taking the game in and out to play every once in a while! The thrill of the chase is half the buzz for me. I still pick up a lot of stuff but I'm far more curated than I was a few years back! My Mission 360 has gone pretty well so far, I'm still picking up a few bits that aren't on the list but I'm being as selective as I know how! That's where I am now. But I think sometimes collecting becomes more of an addiction. I like the challenge but knowing when to say enough is enough can seem like a better pill to swallow. I still pick up a lot of games, but they're across many systems and I only buy games that I intend to play, even the shovelware I grab from time to time! (Sometimes I enjoy bad games!) @@HabibHabib-vz3jg I think it can be a fine line between hoarding and collecting, to me collecting is knowing and loving what you have, keeping it organised in good condition and easily accessible should you want to play it. Hoarding to me is just grabbing anything that you don't really care about and cramming it in anywhere for the sake of it. With collecting space may often become an issue, with hoarding I think you care less. I'm doing my best to collect not hoard, but it's easy to sometimes overstep the line between the two. Yeah, there's some crazy expensive stuff I have no interest in and don't want in my collection! Exactly. I found it hard to cull down my Master System collection, despite not liking some of them, but once I had and used the cash to buy a few bits that I really wanted I felt great about it! I try to only keep games I like now. Some games I know will never leave my collection, others may if I notice the price has flown up and I can swap them out for better/other titles I may prefer. I wouldn't like to say, I don't really collect as an investment. I enjoyed RoR but am probably getting more enjoyment out of the games that replaced it, so no regrets there. Kind of hard to say exactly what's going to keep going up as generations come and go, it could all be a big bubble and worth nothing in twenty years, either way I'll still be enjoying playing what I've accumulated.
