    This just opens up more questions than it answers: What is it that makes carnivores inherently stronger than herbivores when herbivores are more diverse in size and strength? And more numerous? Why is it that carnivores only developed a desire to butcher herbivores after the wars? What was preventing them from eating their prey when they were still cavemen? That's why I've never been able to buy into the hype for beaststars. The world building has always been nonsensical and contradictory.

    If there are less fish from over fishing that means less carnivores cause they have more food. Then more fish cause they have less predators and then more predators as there is more food. It's a cycle.

    Interesting, this opens me a new perspective for how I could utilize it for my own story of Beastars. I used to see that place on a very bad light, but now I can see that it can also be used for good

    I offer cloning meat as a solution for meat

  • @PlanetZoidstar
    @PlanetZoidstar 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I have a theory that while Carnivores have an innate desire to eat meat, it is not always due to hunger. Many times Carnivores that eat Herbivores (especially live Herbivores) bemoan a desire for a connection. It's interesting that it's almost always adult Carnivores that crave meat, the need for infant or child Carnivores is seemingly nonexistant or at least never discussed. My theory posits that Carnivores that consume meat (outside of simply being hungry) are actually seeking a connection with an Herbivore, but they lack the understanding of their own nature to do so in a non-violent manner. We have seen it is possible for Carnivores to overcome their desire for meat, and the fact that some Herbivores willingly submit to Carnivores when they lose control suggests even the Herbivores seek this connection, even if it kills them. So what Carnivores truly need to overcome the desire for meat is a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship with an Herbivore. The Life Animals & Nature Animals coexisted for thousands of years with predation being more or less nonexistant. So it can be done.

    Finally someone points out the massive problems with the solution just being: Destroy the Black Market and just eat fish meat. I think a better solution would have been either adopting the sea beasts mentality, since it seems to work pretty well for them, or make a better legal market. I mean people in our world can become organ donors or donate their body to science, why not in the Beastars world they do something similar but for meat for the carnivores or something?

      Most of the meat in the black market is actually donated by funerals and hospitals, however most of it is a front for the illegal trafficking of non consenting herbivores

    Why arent there more videos centering around the black market? I thought id get abunch of video essays discussing it, but this is ine of the few. That REALLY suprises me! Theres so much that can be discussed, such as how the government trys to ignore the market, rather than cintrol, regulate, or dispurse it, for they want to stay away from it, fearing contaversy. The idea of the black makret resembles a drug market, a place where people can get “meds” that the government refuses to supply them with, as well as acknolwedge the carnivors pain. However, the lack of regulation has caused illegal practices and addiction. There is no control, no order, the “drug” market us being controled by a literal predatory buisness. I love discussing this! There are so many debates to be had.

    I think I'm one of the few people that didn't mind the two-time appearance of the snake 'deity' as that's how I initially saw it (they also mention they're ashamed of being seen most anyone other than the 'chosen one') Good review of the supernatural..! I think it's easier for some to think about if they already believe in it outside of fiction

    Unrelated, but have you seen the beastars Timezone music video that was released in june, beast complex volume 3, & the new merch that's releasing January of 2024? It's a juno & pina statues & two cutesy style Legoshi & Louis figures. Also thoughts on beastars final season poster that was seen in July animie expo?

    • @cherrytonarchives7969
      @cherrytonarchives7969 ปีที่แล้ว

      About the music video: No, haven't seen that video yet. For Beast Complex 3: Yes, I have! My next video will be about all the Beast Complex stories released so far, actually! For the Merch: I haven't been able to find new merch announcements personally. I must admit that merch is also something I haven't paid too much attention to, as I have been very busy with other things as well. Final Season poster: The poster I have seen for S3 looks awkward in my honest opinion. The designs are alright, nothing too notable aside from legoshi's missing scar. However, I know S2 had a rather awkward poster as well, so perhaps announcement posters just aren't Beastars' strong suit. I am still very excited for the final season!

    You have become the next kamui miracle in my eyes & you are incredibly, criminally under rated. Love your title of your channel name & do hope you upload more frequently as we wait for season 3 in 2024.

      Thank you, that is genuinely nice to hear, as Kamui Miracle was one of my biggest inspirations for starting this channel in the first place. I am planning on releasing a good couple of videos before S3's release, so I am going to work hard on that!

    Good video. On the topic of imaginary chimeras, take a look back at chapter 16 when Louis breaks up the fight between Legoshi and Bill. Bill sees Adler, not Louis.

    Overall, superb video yet again. Great use of visuals, and the length of the video was perfect. 10-12m is very good for an informative video like this, and you hit it perfectly. I also really like how you mix a balance between sharing what is shown and confirmed in the series (such as dinosaurs and supernatural), but also add your own level of speculation and possibilities which help enrich the video with interesting thoughts and commentary. Finally, I know you're wondering about it, so I'll address it: your speaking tone, cadence, and overall script are top-notch. Your voice is soothing yet has an air of authority and knowledge. You deliver the script naturally as if you're speaking to a classroom, with nary a blunder to be heard. I don't know how many times you practiced or how many cuts you made, but the end result is practically flawless. In short, this is not only fascinating to me, but you actually make me want to dive in further into the world of Beastars than I already have --- which I'm sure is part of your goal. Final score: 9/10 video. Damn good.

    Ryan, my friend. For your first-ever video you certainly did your homework. You clearly watched what other similar videos do, how they use visuals (including stock photos), and took notes. It paid off, as I think they greatly enhanced your video. I honestly couldn't look away. And that's a huge compliment, as I often have to look away when watching something a friend made, because I want to stop seeing all the flaws and critiques building in my head. But instead of criticism, my mind was filled with new facts and information, as well as beautiful visuals to keep me interested. I thought I knew a lot about Beast Complex, but I still learned even more things from your video. You have a true gift here. And not necessarily in making videos. Or clear, informative, and well-written narrative. Nay. Your passion. Your enthusiasm. Your drive. THIS is your gift.
