(Almost Missed!!) (SCV-42 Siemens Charger!!) VIA 75 - 2310 & 2210 At Mimico
October 3 2024. This was the biggest suprise of the day! VIA 75 for the very first time in History had one of the VIA Rail SCV-42 Siemens Charger as the Consist! The reason being was because of the delay of VIA 65 on the Kingston Subdivision. VIA 75 had snuck up on me and I wasn't able to have time to prepare myself for the shot, Thankfully I didn't completely miss it!!

Damn I would've been there this morning, if I wasn't sick at home. I always see 71 at 7 in the morning.
Oh yeah I saw on the transit app the alerts that trains would be at restricted speed and arrive and depart later than normal during this track work operation
Personally I like the old cab car design more. It is much more versatile, being able to service as a regualr old Bombardier Bi-Level passenger car in the middle of the train. The new cab car design requires it to only operate at the end of a train. The walkthrough gangway has been removed. It also looks hella ugly in my opinion.
