Every Friday Phil Milani is joined by a former Broncos player or a friend in the media to talk about what's happening with the team and look ahead to the next game. The goal is to be informative and entertaining. At the end of every episode, Phil reviews a bottle of bourbon to help you try something new.

If Surtain is out were about to see if VJ is as good as we hope he is
Aloha Phil and Broncos Country! Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas) to everyone out there in Broncos Country. Once again, awesome job Phil and loved seeing Steve on the show. So humble and full of wisdom and knowledge of the game. Hopefully, we can bring him in to coach up our safety group. Have them bring the Boom back to Denver. May you all have a wonderful holiday season and let's make this Christmas an awesome one by getting into the playoffs and having the 5th seed. Go Broncos!!!!
Steve Atwater hitting Christian Okoye excited a whole cell block Buena Vista Department of Corrections in Colorado.
Retirement is never retirement when you pursue that other life's passion.
I love the description of that favorite moment. This is a wonderful interview.
Is there a salary cap for coaches??. If not then the walton/penners need to pay VJ to stay and keep him at defense cordinator. Easy oh that team is gonna pay you that much to be a head coach how bout we match that for you to stay D.C here in denver.
Money certainly will help! But VJ might want to build back his own legacy after his first stint as a HC didn’t go so well. And he might want his own staff and to do things his own way. Hope he sticks around though!
@BroncosandBourbon yeah maybe. But he can build a legacy in Denver with this team and this coaching staff. Also I'd like to add denver's season this year could make a great movie if we can go deep into the playoffs maybe even the big dance. "Remember the broncos"
My all-time favorite Bronco! All hail the Smiling Assasin💪🏼
Go Broncos!
Scared someone is going to poach guy VJ!! He’s done great!!
Phil you have been knocking it out of the park with this show and this is your best interview yet. The friendship between you is adds a lot. You two should put together a podcast on a regular basis in the future. I would watch that!
I appreciate that!! Thank you for watching!! I’ll ask Steve to come on more often!!
Sorry, Steve, Levi is a horrible corner. I hope we never see him in the field again. We really need Moss back.
Another great conversation. Thank you
“I missed Barry twice in one play, man!” 😂 When you’re a dude with a gold jacket and two rings, you can look back and joke about stuff like that!
Atwater!! This team is young, hungry, and focused… Anything is possible. #superbowlwhynotus
Love Steve Atwater! I'm so glad he's back to being a part of Broncos Country on the media side. Great insight and great memories on today's podcast. Super excited for this weekend's game! Let's go Broncos!
Great show! Have you thought about doing a game recap after a bronco game?
I've thought about it! Do you think enough people would be interested?
@@BroncosandBourbon I think so! You can maybe have a guest with you to break down the game and have some bourbon 🥃
Happy to hear the shoutout to Dennis Smith. My favorite Broncos player of all time. 👍
What a safety duo! Wouldn't catch me going across the middle during those days! 😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥🫡
Love that you got Steve! Always great words coming out of his mouth
One of the best Safeties of all time. DB4LIFE!!! Should have been a first Ballet Hall of Famer. Glad he got in no doubt. Came into the league and dominated from the jump.
DS49 for HOF
How much has the Broncos' culture changed this season?
One game at a time. We beat the Colts and our chances skyrocket. We lose and our chance is 50-50 at best, even though we would still be in a playoff position. This is because we have the toughest last three games of the teams chasing us and they have the tie breakers over us. Beat the Colts and we can revisit this.
Another great pod Phil. Keep up the great work
Thank you!!! Appreciate you checking out the show!
If they can get the running game going they can make a run, if they don't, one and done
Broncos to the Super Bowlnis delusional. Coach Payton is fantastic. This team is not ready. Be happy that your ROOKIE QB looks okay.
Bo's greatest quality is his brain. Manning, Brady etc all took a huge step once they were reading defenses properly. Bo can read defenses. As a rookie Caleb has everything but what? Reading defenses. Jayden also reads defenses decently. Notice something?
Hi romi bean 🫛
Great episode! ECSB was my first bourbon and got me hooked
Please quit taking about Russ! Who cares about him . He's not a Bronco anymore.
Last year we won 8 games. So why is everyone surprised that we are going to win 10 or more this year? Before the season started I figured 8 or 9 wins. We weren't going to be a sorry team. Bo Nix was pro ready. I'm so glad that we are better than I predicted!!!
Romi is cool AF
Romi always does a great job for the viewers. She does it with great enthusiasm too.
It’s so good to see you back on Phil. Remember when Coach Payton said after the draft that we will look back at this draft three years from now and say that this was the foundation that built our team.
It’s so good to see you back on Phil
Get to the playoffs! Nice short.
Good job Phil, thanks for introducing me to Romi Bean. I live in TX and not able to watch the Denver media. That lady knows her business, just like you my friend. Keep on keeping on.
I'm sure someone as gorgeous as Romi has to deal with "certain things" at times but she seems class personified so I am sure she deals with it with class and dignity. Keep up the great work. So happy you are covering Denver Sports 😊 just don't go to 104.3 they will eventually push you out like they did Rachel. You have a big fan here in South Carolina!
Everyone loves Coop!
Wow 😲 Romi was old enough to remember the '97,'98 teams! I wouldn't have thought that... Yes those teams for someone my age were so exciting because it was the fruit of all the labor of so many years of "almost" in the Elway years.
Nice interview, but why are you looking for excuses to loose. Be positive. The Cots are on a bye week too
Bonitto will exceed Von, no disrespect. He's quicker and slips blocks better his future is possibly the brightest of any of our defenders.
His future is very bright for sure. I don't know if he is quicker than Von though. The man is one of the best of all time and it was thanks to his speed and slipperiness. Been awesome seeing Nik develop his game and he still can keep getting better!
@BroncosandBourbon I can't disagree. Only time will tell, though. Thanks for the reply!
Romi rules!
❤ROMI absolutely a true treasure amazing sports journalist professional and already one of the best to do it😊🎉fantastic Interview Phil always grateful GO BO-RONCOS🎉
An did any one mention how beautiful she is too😂😅
I've said this before but you really do great interviews with really interesting guests. Great job, keep it up.
Thank you so much! Trying to bring on great guests and have great conversations!
SUSIU & ROMI are very smart football people! Susie is a legend in this State and Romi is fast on her way to that legend mark! As a man that loves sports, I'm so happy to see these professional women do the voodoo that they do!
Phil! You should get Big Alfred Williams on your show! That would be fun! Also, I deliver liquor for western and northern colorado so your bourbon segments are always great!
Thank you so much! I will try to get Big Al on! I miss him on the radio these days!
I’m not a Denver or Colorado local, just a Broncos fan, and Romi is one of my favorite people in sports media. Her ties to the Broncos give her extra points, but she’s truly just great at what she does. Loved the episode, and that Elijah Craig bourbon sounds like it’s great stuff!
Appreciate you checking out the show!! Gotta try Elijah Craig!
Thanks for the content
Thanks for checking out the show!
It’s simple - in everything he does, Bo Nix demonstrates football pedigree. He adapts well, learns well, plays well, speaks well, and leads well. We’re lucky to have him.
