BBC 100 Intro to The Adventures of Robin Hood (1939)
มุมมอง 139ปีที่แล้ว

My trailer for the 1984 film Conan the Destroyer. Although this is a sequel to Conan the Barbarian, I saw this one first and always preferred it. The mighty warrior, Conan and his allies go on a quest with the young Princess Jehnna fig...

Vincent Price murders his critics in this wonderful 1973 film. Theatre of Blood was one of Vincent Price's personal favourites of the roles he played. He got a chance to performance some of Shakespeare's greatest characters and to work with Britain's best character actors. Price also met his future wife, Coral Browne, while making this film. Starring Vincent Price, Diana Rigg, Ian Hendry, Denni...
Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple Films (1961-1964) | Trailer

My trailer for the four films starring Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple. The films are Murder She Said, Murder at the Gallop, Murder Most Foul and Murder Ahoy. Give them a watch if you haven't already! Agatha Christie apparently didn't care for Margaret Rutherford's portrayal of Miss Marple but she did respect her as an actress and later dedicated a book to her. Follow me on Instagram: instag...

I love this movie, it's fun to see it through fresh eyes. It so unusual, told in a way that should never work, but its so beautifully acted by Anthony Hopkins and Anne Bancroft, you can't help but love it [in stranger moments, I like to think this movie is Hannibal Lecter and Mrs. Robinson trading letters] Thanks for the fun trailer

Robert Quarry did a fine good job when he played Court Vorga Vampire which i was young once i seen his first link film got released in Cinema which it was really different from watching your Dracula movies But! later on i got all grown up and saw it coming on cable TV like a Shock Theater with host Dr Creep which i am not so sure if you really do remember him at all or not? because in my state of Ohio there was this Cool TV Series that would come on up all night and you can watch Horror Films like you really wont believe. so later on in time to once i got grown up and finishing High School which i graduated into the year of 1981 i was 19 at that point of time and i would turn on my TV set and before you know it every Saturday Night there was Shock Theater coming on with your host Dr Creep How Cool it was watching Creep talk all about these Horror films that was coming out and the cast as well which was really neat to watch and all at once Dr Creep was talking all about Court Vorga Vampire the movie and i thought to myself wow i really have got see this movie once again later on got to see his sequel called Return to Court Vorga which was not as good as the first one because his first Court Vorga was Great a Classic all on its on you could say which i did like his sequel but you know into both first and second movie they like to catch you by surprise just when you think that all of the Vampires are dead you better think again. But! My Hat goes off to this actor Robert Quarry who made Court Vorga which he was Great

I saw Conan the Barbarian & Conan the Destroyer 3x in the Theater when they were originally released & also purchased both films later on VHS. However ...on VHS I noticed the Conan & Togra fight scene in Destroyer had been edited to remove Togra's vastly superior Sword display after they both fell off their horses & continued fighting. I've never read anything regarding this "Edit" nor have watched any Arnold or Sven-Ole Thorsen interview that mentions it either. Regardless, as said ...Sven-Ole Thorsen's Sword skills really made Arnold look bad which I'm sure is the reason the "Edit" was done for Home media release.

A live action fan film of The Halloween Tree would be better because the fans of The Halloween Tree book and movie would know how to do it justice. It's too bad that Leonard Nimoy (Spock) passed away because if he was still alive he could reprise his role as Mr. Moundshroud in the live action fan film of: The Halloween Tree. BTW did you know that it was Leonard Nimoy (Spock) that did the voice of Mr. Moundshroud in the 1993 movie called The Halloween Tree?

As campy as the movie might be in some places, I can say without a doubt that Robert Quarry elevated it with his performance. I absolutely love Count Yorga and he is a major reason because of it. It also shows that you don't need a huge budget and sets to make a good movie. Just a good script, good actors, and someone behind the camera who knows what they're doing. Rest in peace Robert Quarry.
