My Xbox One power brick stopped working and i was able to fix the issue by using my Xbox 360 slim power brick. Here is a video to show you what i did. I hope this helps others fix this annoying issue with the Xbox one power brick! 3M is literally a company that I trust my life with. Many of you may not realize but every time you go to a hospital or Doctors office a 3M product will be used to diagnose and treat you.
3M claims to be a headlight restoration and it’s a headlight enhancement. To begin with those headlights were a 1 in a scale of 1 through 10 in needing work,,, 10 being the most difficult. That was a piece of cake.

@@specialyassine5452 I actually did try it I had an extra Xbox 360 console and an Xbox 360 power brick so I use that and I'm not going to lie it worked for about I would say a couple of times after me turning it on and turning it off and then one day I tried to turn it on and it just won't work anymore, the 360 power brick works fine but it just won't work anymore to turn on my Xbox One, what I ended up doing was getting a new cord from GameStop but I've been using that since and it's been working just fine for now does get a little hot tho so I keep a fan on it

I actually just had to do this and it works!!! We had a power outage that killed our brick. Had an old 360 one around and so glad I found your video. We live in a small town and the new one would come Wednesday. My wife would not have survived

3m products is a company to trust!! A stunning brilliant job sir!! I have used the other same kit, With cordless drill with variable speed!! Which I recommend for a more oxidation and old clearcoat hazing, Yellowing, Fogging, ect, Unfortunately the kit don't supply any Clearcoat, So I bought Maguires clearcoat with added UV protection which gives extra shine and clarity!!! Thanks for sharing!!👍

I mean if the ratings are the same then it's fine. If the one requires less amps than the 360 this can damage your system. You need to check the power ratings from both units before doing this or you are going to fry your console and or your brick.
How do I check the ratings?
@@SanityIsPointless sorry I'm just now getting the notification from this but you will have to look online or on the power brick. It should say unprivileged and output voltage. Microsoft is notorious for changing stuff do you can't reuse old components. But just look for Xbox 360 and Xbox one power speck online it will tell you.
It’s the other way around. If the Xbox One requires less current, there shouldn’t be a problem unless the voltage is significantly different. If the Xbox One requires more current, the power supply is likely going to overheat…

I used a random key to push the plastic piece out and a bottle opener to separate the plugs, it did not work however :D my console is from 2013 and i think it might have seen better days, have to buy a new one :(

You wet the 1000 and 3000 sanding disc with water, just plain water. The clearcoat goes on exactly as you saw him apply it
I used water the entire time I was sanding, it helps the sanding and rinses the grit away too
My car failed inspection because headlights were fuzzy kit coming then pass inspection don't care if it lasts long time
So it takes about an hour start to finish during the process?
