Have been looking for this complete song. Hearing Amber sing this live on Broadway sent chills down my spine. She is amazing. Lempicka is a an incredibly special show that really got screwed by the critics.

Agree on Chip Zien. Extremely disappointed he was snubbed. Definitely surprised by the Scenic Design miss for Gatsby. Last year’s Tony’s was good without the writers. Ariana Dubois did great.

You really don't go to a show to see a specific actress. Like on Melissa Bell Chait's last show, she hadn't been in the role for a while after having a stroke, so the people boooed loudly when they announced Kristin wasn't gonna play Glinda. Or on Kerry Ellis' 2nd show there was a group of girls booing and bitterly clapping because they didn't get to see Idina (she was literally RESTING because she had to leave the show right before it mid-show, and rightfully so because she was performing while extremely tired, she did it for her own safety) I mean I'm not saying you shouldn't go just to see an actress, just don't be like those people if the actress is indisposed and her standby has to cover for her

I've seen Wicked over 50 times (in London and seen it on Stuttgart too) but it is my dream to see it on Broadway one day. Hopefully soon <3

my school’s doing this show this year! i just had my callback today and im so excited to do it. originally i wasn’t very excited (not a huge jukebox musical person, i don’t really like country) but prepping for it has made me appreciate it more. very excited to put my own spin on whatever role im given!

One thing I don't see a lot of people pointing out is how skewed the voting pool for best score actually is this season. With the rule that they can miss one show, but the fact that both Almost Famous and Kpop were nominated for best score, voters have to have seen both of the shows that only ran in the fall to be able to vote for score. I think it's going to affect the score more than people realize. I just don't know how. Or would it be because both of these shows have cast recordings available that people can vote even if they didn't see either one?

Hello. Based on buzz, I think Jodie Comer wins Best Actress in a play. I saw A Dolls House and will see Prima Facie soon. Definitely a 2 woman race in that category. Agree on New York, New York for lighting. Sweeney Todd may win for revival. Will be seeing Some Like It Hot soon, so I hope it does well. Not a fan of Into the Woods, just not my kind of thing. I know that’s heresy, but I didn’t care for it.

I do think it might create some activation on the right if both Ghee and Alex win. I can imagine some might be doing the reverse argument of the trans sports debate, where they argue you have actors who don't identify as men, "stealing" awards from male actors. It would certainly be a hypocritical argument, but the right cares little about hypocrisy.

I think the way you framed the comment "We would have no cis men winning. And I really hope that happens" maybe not the best of saying it. The goal shouldn't be for cis men not to win. It should be for all person cis or otherwise to be included.
