dude you're full of crap. the aesthetic of this game is great. the guns are fun, 3 guns at a time is nice. the difficulty is perfect. the plot and characters are actually cool unlike other games of the same generation like uncharted (which is a fine game but lets be real the characters and plot are the opposite of cool). tbh, i think it's slightly better than all 3 resistance games, inversion, duke nukem forever, doom 3 bfg, rage, starhawk, and jurassic the hunted. not as good as crysis 2 and 3, binary domain, lost planet 2, or aliens vs predator. all games ive played for the first time in the last year.

I knew more people would've come around to appreciate this early 7th gen...gem

Skullmonkeys was one of the first games I received for my ps1 on Xmas and it was my introduction to the Neverhood and its universe. So when this was mentioned I bought it just for that reason and Luke always there animation claymations were the best and hilarious. Klassen from skullmonkeys and neverhood to also a secret character. I remember getting this at EB as well and it released new for 15$ so I got it the day of release.

Mt ex-wife bought me an Xbox for Christmas in 2002 and bought me this game used with it (probably because it was the cheapest game availabe). It's on the short list of worst games I've ever played. Even sitting thruogh this video was a slog. There's a special place in hell for the programers of this game. In fact, it would not surprise me if people in hell had to play this game non-stop for eternity.

I appreciate the fact that you did not review this like a pussy and whine about viloence and misogyny. A lot of people are doing that sort of thing these days.

i actually bought this game to rub it in my moms face, she is the one that got me and my siblings into Buffy. that was her favorite show hands down. i never played it in front of her or played it in general. she actually passed last September, and i forgot i had the game until today. i can gladly say that i have been watching buffy and playing the game for the past 3 hours. it really is a good game and i wish i picked it up sooner so my mom could have tried it out too lol. im thinking of picking up the second game as well!!!

I refer to this game as Walmart Bayonetta. I know this game came before Bayonetta, but Bayonetta just did it so much better.

I rage quit the game after dying for the umpteenth time in the initial car chase, never picked up the game since!

I finally played Conan on my PS3 last month, and I have to say this is one of the best GoW clones. I miss games like this.

I’m not gonna lie, the actual gameplay of this game is really lacking. All the characters are the same copy paste, besides maybe one thing. It’s pretty sad honestly because it would be good if the characters actually had differences.
