Hi, nice find mate James the first must have been a mate of Mathew Hopkins witch finder general about the same time , and there was a German geezer Heinrich Kramer ( clergyman ) who was at it in 1486 he wrote the Malleus Malificarum ( the hammer of witches ) love it mate top find .

Hi Nigel , you are right mate it is quite a rare coin weight it is similar to a commonwealth coin but not quite the same border with the dots and the shield is the wrong shape straight at the top not bowed , a top find mate but to be honest i don't recognise the design ? personally i think it's a rare Medieval coin weight 1350-1500 AD , hope you get a result some nice hammereds there as well , good video pal and happy new year .
