to me haesoo and the scar guy was the worst couple i wasnt feeling it with them, her and the 8th prince had better chemistry between them.

May 9,2022...finished all the episodes,😭 very heart breaking ending..I'm so affected,it so hard to move on bec.of the ending.waiting for season 2 please still hoping.

This kdrama surely gonna make one cry oceans of tears.... Beautiful yet painful... Wang So & Hae Soo... Mesmerizing couple & chemistry... After going through hell lot of pain & sacrifices, She did change his history.... For good... That was the bestest part... Loved the storyline and cast... Fabulous acting by all... It felt so real... Really wished, till the very last minute, if they would have met in present day... Must watch... Really.... Can't get over it already...

Although it had a painful ending which I know most of us wanted a fantasy happy ending but it ended realistically it followed the story line of real history even if they started season 2 by making the king travel in time to met hea soo it will make the realness in this drama unrealistic and more like a fantasy romantic drama which is not what the story of this drama wants to give the audience.The writer wants the audience to remember it as real history and thats why it ended that way so its kind of understandable that they didn't do season 2 cause if they have done it there will be no beauty in the realness of this drama anymore. And till now people remember this drama and it is painful beautiful.

I liked this even if it was sad and ending abrupt. StIll worth it. Because the MOOD they managed to make!! "Joyful day to despairing night". I choose to look at it as an open ending.Because it is. The actor playing So is really goodlooking. With or without scar. Pity hes a bit of a sociopath.

There should have another episode where they will meet each other again.... whatever , it was funny at first but turns to a heartbreaking sad story ....☹️☹️

The most heartbreaking scene was when Prince Eun and his wife died, he thought that hiding behind his wife is a shameless thing to do and said "What can I do, Hae Soo? I am his awesome person now, I am all she has now". This scene literally gave me heartache. I cried so much after watching his bravery😭😭😭. One can see how much Prince Eun has changed from the pilot episode, how much mature he has become. WANG EUN & SOON DEOK💕✨
