I feel for you! I went through the same thing. It took me 12 months to get complete control of my urine. Now I can cough or pick up and push objects and the muscle kicks in automatically to hold the urine. It does take time but it will happen. So does the pain with time it became less. Keep the faith!

I have turp procedure coming uo 4 November

I recently had a ER incident with pelvic pain 1yr post radiation My doctor said go to ER & May need catheter I was at ER from 12 40pm & didn’t get out till nearly 10pm The pain went away by then They did ultrasound & found my bladder didn’t empty completely I now take Tamoslosin every nite I did not need catheter thank God It doesn’t seem to do much If the pain isn’t too bad I can live with it I can walk eat etc so I think I can avoid ERs unless it gets unbearable Thank you for your honest helpful sharing

Thank you for your sharing I had IMRT external beam radiation in Aug& Sept 2023 I didn’t have a space oar My PSA dropped to undetectable but last test Aug2024 was 0.31 which is still low We will monitor it in January & my primary doctor wants me to see urologist about urinary issues in January & to take Tamoslosin God bless you in your journey

PSA only means there is inflammation somewhere in body. It doesn’t mean cancer. Only biopsies and MRI PSA or MRI with bone scans can see if cancer spreads. Stay on that my brother. Surveillance is necessary.

Hello sir fellow just newly diagnosed my Gleason is 9 5+4 psa 70 I’m receiving radiation IMRT and I’m on zytiga and orgovyx pmsa scan says only in one node I’m always in my mind about are the side effects that or cancer has spread
