For minors, that is anyone under the age of 18, the child's legal parent or guardian can usually sign the model release on the child's behalf.

I sent an email to iStock stating that I have waived my exclusivity. Then I was told that I have to wait 3 months and according to our agreement, I should not publish the works on different websites during these three months. I cannot give detailed information about this. You can get information from the iStock website.

When you apply to become a creative contributor, our editors asses your work and will offer you a contract for the site where they believe your work has the best chance of selling. The vast majority of creators are offered a contract that publishes their images primarily to iStock. There's no advantage in having your images being principally published to a site where they are less likely to sell. This article explains iStock Exclusivity: contributors.gettyimages.com/article.aspx?article_id=5273 What we are looking for from Getty Images contributors is largely the same as what we seek in iStock Exclusives - basically, we need high quality, differentiated content i.e. fully model and property released lifestyle shots of people. If you shoot that kind of content, you have a better chance of being offered a Getty Images contract, although there are significant advantages to being an iStock Exclusive instead.

From my experience, those can be submitted as editorial but not creative (commercial). But be aware of location if the photo has certain famous architecture as some can be restricted to use in stock photos.

If you received the message saying that your info has been received, then it should have been received. Assuming all is ok with the info you provided, it may take a few days for it to be checked and for the red banner & notice to vanish. As for the warning about leaving the tax interview, if you received the notice that your info had been received then it's just stating that, once you leave, all the info you entered will no longer display or be accessible to you - it doesn't mean the info has not been sent. The contributor services team usually respond to tax interview tickets within a few days. @@gettyimagescreative Thanks for response. But as I mentioned, I was trying to complete the interview starting from August and there's still the same situation: Tax interview status: Incomplete. And support ticket is being ignored for months. By the link you provided, there's my ticket opened in the beginning of October with status "In progress" and no any response. Previous ticket was opened in August and it was also ignored.

Same story. Many of my photos were rejected on the ground of excessive use of AI tools however, no AI were used for post-processing, only white balance and color correction.

I am experiencing similar situations. I am being rejected for the 3D works I draw with 3ds max and render with V-ray, even though there is no AI. I am sending the same file again with visuals of the project to prove it. It has become a really troublesome situation. And recently, the drawings I send have not been reviewed for more than 20 days. That is why I am constantly opening support tickets.

@@gettyimagescreative Just did consult the FAQ about tax but couldn't find one related to LLC (1 was for S Corp though), could you ask the team in charge of FAQ about tax to add my question? One for US citizen or resident with LLC and one for Non-US resident with LLC, I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting to know (nothing on internet nor youtube either)

If your tax status is shown as "Complete", the date is written under "Tax interview expiration" in the sub-tab.

If you are accepted as an iStock non-exclusive contributor, then yes - you can submit imagery to other agencies / sites. If you produce good work, you can later apply to become an Exclusive contributor - but that's your choice.

We don't have a video specifically about DM, but the general guidance for batch creation applies to all upload tools. Basically, if you have a bunch of shots from a shoot, it's best to submit them in one batch, or at least as few batches as possible. That allows the inspectors to get through the files quickest - especially if there are releases attached. What really slows things down is when contributors create one batch for just one or two files, and then another batch for the next couple. It speeds things up to wait until you have a few that you can submit together, even if they are of different subjects. Thanks for your feedback!

Hi, the main point is that we need shots of people with pets and not just pets on their own. We've got millions of those already. However, unless they are a famous pet, such as Grumpy Cat or Lassie, etc, you do not normally need a property released for a pet.

Hi - When looking at a batch on the Upload page, click to choose a specific file, this is where you enter the title, description, and keywords, etc. You should see the brief code box at the bottom, under image properties - where it says advanced.
