Salut et bienvenue ! Oui il y a effectivement beaucoup de modèles. L'idéal est effectivement de commander sur les sites japonais (Digitaka ou Plat tous deux très sérieux). La canne dans la vidéo est une ultra light de 7 pieds 6, trop longue pour le kayak définitivement car peu maniable en étant assis. Si je pars du principe que tu pratiqueras du lancer en eau pas trop profonde (moins de 15 mètres), l'idéal serait une canne de 1m85 à 2m10 max. Pour des lancer dans moins de 15 mètres un medium light calibré pour 3.5g à 15g fera parfaitement l'affaire pour peu que ce ne soit pas un lieu avec un fort courant...mais dans ce cas, le kayak ne sera probablement pas très utile. Tout ceci dit, en Yamaga, seule la canne Blue Current III en 6 pieds 9 pourrait faire l'affaire mais elle est light, donc leurre de 7g max, ce qui est peu... Si tu veux tenter autre chose, il y a aussi St Croix en Made in US, les Mojo Inshore sont excellents. J'en ai deux, dont une medium light avec laquelle je n'ai pas eu de grande difficulté à ramener une carangue bleue coriace de 4.07kg avec un set up très light (leader fluoro de 12lbs, tresse PE 0.5). Donc à tenter, si cela te dit...

You do get used to it. I’ve fished with both sizes using up to 200g slider type lures (Daiwa Kohga) in 400 feet of water. Adjusting the brake and tension control just right will let you have a good dose of control. I actually get to underhand cast those 120/150g lures upcurrent some 15 meters away and to have decent control on the descent sometimes hooking fish when the lure is stil 100ft from the bottom.

I’ll confess that I like the 300 one the most. I’d just add some more drag capacity 😅

Pou jighead si pe cast dan enn lamer kot ena au moins 5M delo ou bien kot ena boucou courrant, 7g kapav ok. Sinon, si pe cast dans 2 à 3 m delo, vo mieux pas depasse 5g. Si possib ress 3.5g mem. Lerla soft bait la pa pou coule trop vite, li pa pou riske tass dan ros sipa dan lherbe fasil, li pou ausi nage plis bien dan delo, donc poisson pou gagn trouv li pli bien.

It’s a actually quite comfortable for softbaiting and helps a lot with long casts. With a wind in the back, I landed 3.5g jigheads at well over 30 meters. The downside is that you just can’t really cast very hard, like you would on a 6’7 or 7´ rod. You’ll probably break the rod if you did.

Daiwa Laguna. Never again !

Fishing a 52g in 70/80 meters, some 20 meters off the bottom can sometimes attrack the big guys roaming in the middle of the water column. Nice surprises can happen there too. I ended up buying two larger 150mm (135g) ones to cover all the bases, but haven't had any luck in the 100m+ depths till now.

Hi. It really varies depending on whether the weather is sunny or cloudy. When going beyond 50m, I prefer to have something that will somehow glow or be very reflective. When fishing shallower waters, try to stay close to the colours of the baitfish on which your target fish are feeding.

Yes indeed. They are the same. There is also a river garfish though.
