This was my worst stage attempt but somehow my best boss attempt. The last stage that can actually be completed with DNA forms. There may be some way to use A-Trans in the other stages via hacking the PS2 version or modifying the 2005 PC version. Woe, this guy is somehow worse than the regular Guardroids. No dash, no aerial attack, no wallslide attack, not even a salute. His one redeeming quality is his buster attack, which has better range than the grenades, is way faster and can be cancelled via jumping. It feels as if that DNA form was made for the boss fight.
Even grunt reploids can destroy maverick bosses. The question that why do only X and Zero fight Mavericks? This video proves that it is because every ones are lazy.

What I find confusing is that no matter which Guardroid you copy, you always get the grenade weapon, you don't get what the mechaniloid was carrying when you copied it

The delay for the attack is really annoying. I understand it is there so you can telegraph the enemy, but they could've really made it so that animation doesn't trigger when you use the copy ability.

It was better in ZX advent and Command Mission. In X7 X8 is nearly useless as crap….

@@vxcodm4121 Even he is a prototype he can actually mimic boss attacks like command mission or Lumine. The game wants to nerf him like Zero without buster..
