Back here in Malaysia in Nov 2022 my new Yamaha Y16ZR rolled out with RK 428 ERO and RKM sprocket set as standard OEM. As for me who ride it daily fast and hard really surprised to find out bout this RK things. It took a solid 2 long year time before the chain set at last ask me for their retirement when some roller get stiff resulting uneven move. It becoming more interesting when.. Believe me in that 2yrs time not even a single time my hands get a tools for adjusting the chain. To honour the hard working chain and loyal I now use the very same brand and never will go for other as it also applied with me loyal to my wife. So for the retired OEM chain set they still with me where i kept them in a nice tool box. This testimony is true. No ringgit ever go to me from RK Malaysia for this. Cheers.

I would have liked to know whether the chain tension measurement should be taken with swinging arm level or when bike is on a centre stand and rear wheel at rest. The KTM250 SXF manual doesn’t say or if it does, I can’t find it.

I think you should have lubed the pins on the new master link before pushing it through the new chain. OR was it already lubed from the package ?

リッターバイク乗ってるけど、ホームセンターのパーツクリーナーとグリスで3万キロ問題なく使用できてます。 メンテをこまめに500キロくらいでやってるのでヘタリも殆どありません。
