Alter Ego Gathering — Chateau du Feÿ
Alter Ego hosted an intimate gathering of leaders at the stunning Chateau du Feÿ, one hour outside Paris.
If you’re interested in applying to attend, please fill out the form here: www.alterego.network/apply
Alter Ego is centred around an inquiry into the relationship between inner and outer change. It’s a beautiful network of leaders who are prototyping a deeper form of change, people who know that we need to change at a psychological and cultural level to have a chance of making it through this crisis moment in history. In the midst of a global pandemic, racial tensions, and the spectre of climate emergency, it feels timely to connect and strategise.
Every so often, we gather key pieces of the puzzle to help us make sense of what’s needed next. A list of previous attendees can be found here, including leaders of radical think tanks, members of parliament, movement leaders, philanthropists, business leaders and academics.
Our invitees this year represent a diversity of backgrounds, and whilst progressive, come from different political tribes. They may at times disagree, but all have the capacity to go beyond fixed perspectives and are modelling a more generative political culture.
There’s a deeper and longer-lasting purpose to the gatherings this year. It comes from a felt sense that many of us are isolated, working under urgency with scarce resources, stretched thin and approaching burnout. Along with wrapping our heads and hearts around what’s going on, we’ll be creating a space for intimate and lasting relationships to form.
For more background on our relational approach to social change, you can read our article on weaving together social fabric.

And that the adults who are there to protect you won't veer off course because it's too i...

What can Extinction Rebellion learn from Nigel Farage?
มุมมอง 5595 ปีที่แล้ว
Farage's recent success exposes three blind spots and one fundamental weakness in XR that we need to reflect on. Do you agree with any of the following? Blind spot 1: Our superiority to groups that have loyalty to their tribe and nation over the world. We can learn from Farage to honour and defend this way of life, not just see it as problematic. Blind spot 2: Communicating about climate emerge...
