the only time i didn't mind it was when it was in bojack horseman (i know it's not a movie, but it's the first thing i thought of). not because it was funny, but because it was brief and wasn't just there to be "hip with the kids".

It's also not even an original sound, its a stock sound effect.

Paramount+ has also done the exact same thing in 2022-2024 when they removed over 50+ Nickelodeon shows off of their service. It was said in an article that they are focusing on brands with mass global appeal. Streaming services has become a decimate to every company who owns one.

The meme was funny ten year's ago but unfortunately these studios didn't get the memo. I just cringe we i see this old unfunny meme pop up in a films because lets be honest goats are more likely to make any other noise than that annoying shrill scream from that video. Imagine how annoying it would be if other older memes stuck around like it. A joke is only funny the first few times, after that it losses its edge and becomes dull.

We're all aware by now that the majority of the academy refuse to watch animated films even though it's part of thier job. It's an open secret that most just give Disney the vote. Ghibli or Spiderverse winning in recent years were miracles, but hopefully it's the mark of a shift.

Never in my life have i heard about the movie-appereance of this meme. Wth Also i feel so dumb not realizing it's a sheep. I got bamboozled. Also, that's a human being scream edited on top of the sheep's video btw. For anyone who doesn't know. It's not a real sound the animal made.

After watching this movie i can say that it feels like a weird dream/acid trip 9/10 (the cat is an asshole but the dog is cute)

I took agriculture in college and I find myotonic (fainting) goats to be much funnier than screaming goats (sheep). These "fainting" goats only exist due to a genetic defect where when startled they go stiff and usually fall over due to a lack of balance and regain control after a few minutes. Also they're entirely awake during the process, they don't faint.

A question I have is if sheep actually make that screaming sound or if someone edited their scream over the sheep.
