In my opinion the bolero length jacket would be better if it wasn’t gathered at the waist. If it layed flat it would be perfect.

The really wide leg pants make me look even shorter and fatter than I am. I try for a straight leg or slightly wider leg.

I remember when skinny jeans FIRST came out, I thought I looked ridiculous in them. Then when I got used to them, it was all I wanted to wear, lol. I think you are correct that some styles just take some getting used to 😀

Hi Gloria - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments! I went by the size charts on the Halara Website for each piece when I ordered. With that said, generally, I went up 1 size for most of the pieces (because of the measurements given on the size charts). So, although I typically wear a medium, most of the pants I showed were size "large". I hope this helps!

Sorry, that one wasn’t suppose to be sent. Hi Theresa, I just got my first pair of wide leg cargo pants at Walmart and though I’m 5’6” I feel a little short in them. I think I’ll stick to the flared leg pants as they seem more flattering on me.

I find that gel works best for me and omit using mousse, I use Ausie curling gel, and I wash, condition, ring out and comb, then apply the gel and scrunch, then pick my hair, so it doesn't look knotted up...
