      Yes you can use the no cocking 7, 7:30, 8, 8:30 to get around 10.15.20.25. of course can differ from person to person and there rhythm. This is a good way for beginners to gage and as time goes by you will have it in your muscle memory.

    What is your thoughts on the balanced zero putters eg Lab , PXG Allan and Evnroll zero family?

    • @kangpga
      @kangpga 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      My style of putting is more of a straight to straight face square to target. Not the slight arc which goes open to close. For my type of swing i would like a square face balanced putter is better then the off square putter. the DF3 is a faced balanced putter and the i believe the PXG is a Tilt balance where the club will tend to open on back swing and close on the follow. I consider myself a good putter and would personally like the DF3 face balanced putters Then PXG Allan. But i do not use the DF3 for me it looks too funky and i just use a normal square face putter.

    All the distance that you mention is total distance or carry distance

    • @kangpga
      @kangpga 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes it is total distance. This is a base you can work with. When you go to different courses the greens can be soft, firm, wet, slow, fast greens, and more, so you need to adjust as you play. But this will give you a good base to gage your distance from.

    Nice tip. For a right handed golfer right hand has to initiate takeaway. In fact a fast takeaway is key to generate faster swing speed ! Recent instruction is wrong in saying to use lead shoulder or lead arm to start the swing . Golf should feel natural . As Tiger said hands are where the most feel is : use them .!

    This is why many players believe the number of putts you have is so important, but really it ss the distance you make putts from. ie If you hit on front of green all day have lots of 10 and 15m putts and roll up to 0.5m every time and have 36 putts have you putted well- Yes. If you hit every shot to 1m and have 36 putts have you putted well. No. your video is good as it should be about controlling ones expectations when putting. I have seen more players with a 10 ft putt think this is for birdie, ram it 1m past and miss the next, whereas if rolled to hole would save a shot.

    • @kangpga
      @kangpga หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes the video is about not worrying about making putts all the time. Putting is very difficult and many factors that go into making a putt roll into the hole. But if you do work on the controlling the distance, you will make more putts and save some strokes by not 3 putting or even 4 putting. In the next videos I will show you an easy way for a beginner and every better players to gage the distance.

  • @user-wc9re3vl6q

    Distance is relative to your swing speed and not everyone else’s! Most high handicappers trying to break 90 don’t hit their 52d wedge 100 yards, that’s like a full PW distance without flair. Wedges should be hit with flair not full speed for better spin and result. Still people can learn this system with three wedges for different distances! I will try to formulate for myself.

    • @kangpga
      @kangpga หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes each case is a little different. I suggest is take a sand wedge and do the 9 o'clock swing and see the distance then the to the same for L, A, P wedge and they should go approximately 10yards apart.

      Yes, Pros always have super high expectations, and if they want to make money they need to make as many putts they can. Tiger and Rory know they have to wait and when the chance arises you must take it. For amateur just need to get the speed correct first then can get more in the hole.

    Why would you use Yards on a putting green . Feet is the metric !

    • @kangpga
      @kangpga หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, thanks for watching and for your great question. I have been teaching for +35 years. I need a way to teach young juniors how to gage putting distance on the green. So first I figured out there is a correlation between distance, length of swing and timing. I lived and learned golf in the US for over 40 years and always learned in Yards (3 feet = 1 yard) for distance. Remember this was in the 1980s no laser range finders, we walked of yardages from sprinkler heads and the white, blue, red yardage sticks. When we got closer to the green we paced of by yards (easier to calculate). So its in my system and difficult to change.

    • @kangpga
      @kangpga หลายเดือนก่อน

      So when i teach beginners and kids I tell them to walk from hole to ball little longer steps then normal (equivalent to 1 yard). I have learned that 1 yard is about 1 golf ball length back swing with putter in 1 second rhythmical swing like a pendulum back and through. So if you have 2 yards you swing putter 2 ball lengths, and if is is 10 yards you swing 10 ball lengths in the same rhythm. This system is easy to do. So for my 40 years of playing golf ,I have taught this system and had great success conveying to young students. It stuck with me even till now. Sorry for the long explanation, but this will be another video which i will make shortly.

    The problem with practicing putting near the 1st tee is that those practice greens are flat and then on the 1st hole you have a crazy downhill left to right 42 footer and blow it 10 feet past the hole. Practice facilities are a big issue. I practice putting every single day, but still three putt like crazy because of the item described above.

      Glad to help. There are many good instructors out there but most talk about what a professional will do. Most armatures can not make those moves they are trying to teach, but as you get use to the basics for many years then you will know what they are talking about. Stick with the basic simple movements then you will enjoy the game more and get better quicker. Thanks for your support and more to come.

    its reallly works like a charm , you must to practice enought both parameters, the clock position and the rythm to engage everything

    • @kangpga
      @kangpga หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, everyone has rhythm, like when you walk you walk in same pace. If you keep same rhythm and go a different distance in the back swing you will automatically increase or decrease the speed of swing. That is why the best players in the world swing so smooth with great tempo..
