Nice knife. You mentioned it cost more in South Africa because it has to be imported. Well I live in the US and the knife has to be imported here as well. It's made in China. However at the rate the US Government is possible g off China & Russia to name a few. Soon it will likely cost 10 times more in the US if we can still get them at all. "Go BRICS"

Add some cotton tobacco pipe cleaners to your knife cleaning kit. They work well to get fluff out the handle for the days where you don't want to disassemble completely just to get fluff out that is stuck on the inside of the liners due to a bit of oil.

Wel ek het n paar pickles en ander knipmesse maar 8/10 keer gryp ek my HB. Ek is nie bang om hom te gebruik of te verniel nie. Ek het die large tong ene nou al vir seker 3 jaar en hy gaan net aan en aan. Jy is reg. Hulle het baie duur geword en al is dit n great mes is dit nie meer kompeterend nie. Jy betaal maar vir naam en brand heritage. Toe ek myne gekoop het was hy R350. Teen die selfde prys sal ek hom weer koop maar daai sal nooit weer wees nie. Hoop julle het n great naweek!

It's a lekker knife. I got one of the first Medium D2 black models as a gift, but I have a bunch of better flippers now.

I received this as a gift and wow I was startled when I first saw it. The design is remarkably stout while being reminiscent of the Sheepdog, with that little extra swedge along the front edge of the blade. I am very fond of this knife. I think Kizer should do this design with upgraded materials and finish. It would be a big seller.

Take the foam out, then you can trace on the bottom cleanly with a ballpoint pen. Cut the line and its done. Easy peasy. Also that foam seems flimsy, get a yoga mat in EVA rubber to replace it.

Try rolling your thumb on the lock place thumb on lock and roll towards wrist

Always nice to see the Pulse, a great tool even now, the toolset is hard to beat. The centre punch was probably used on the plier head to tighten it up. However, a better way is to use a set of decent grips and slightly rotate the centre part, this tightens it up again.

The handle is bigger. The cutting edge is almost the same on the pm2. The Shaman is the better option, imo.
