Just free up a couple of months and jump on the Caroline Voyager when it comes through your island. My boys and I plan on take the ship all he way to Yap one day. NUKUORO is another Micronesian gem as well. If you haven't seen it already, you might e joy as well! It was around $100 for a round trip deck passage to Kapingamarangi. Set up your own sleeping spot with a hammock or matt. You can buy meals in the galley or bring your own food and cook on deck. The round trip was 7 days. The ship has no regular schedule, so if you are a visitor to the island you must have an open ended schedule and lots of time... or be very lucky. I found out about his voyage only the day before so jumped on board with littke more than my camera and fishing gear!

These islands are unforgettable... you are certainly lucky to have made the journey! Remote Island and rich culture! Kapinga hadn't changed much in all that time.
