This was a pretty worthless video, blurry as hell and doesn't really tell us anything other than there is frozen water clogging up the drain. We knew that already, it's happening to us also, otherwise we wouldn't be watching your video looking for a cause and solution. Neither to be found here, unfortunately. Just wasted 9 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

I bought a 12v fan, but it just comes one for a few seconds and then stops. IS there a correct Wattage or Amp for the replacement fan?

Can you show how to open the plastic panel in the freezer section as I am struggle to take the panel out. The fan in the freezer is very noisy and requires a new one. Thanks

I got a refurbished iPhone XS Max one year ago.. the battery health was at 90% and so it couldn’t go on the whole day without one or two charging. I decided to change the battery through the 3rd party. I was mad when I saw that information thinking that they built in my phone a fake battery but they swore they ordered an original Apple battery! And now I believe it! But how terrible of apple to do that! I like that phone it works perfect .. why would they want me to upgrade it ? I really like Apple products but this is something that makes me doubt.. the phone is in my possession, I paid for it and now they made the value of it less.. that sounds almost illegal..

Hi how do I tell the fan isn’t working? My freezer coils all frozen up, freezer at bottom but lower fridge likes to freeze my vegetables 🥕. It’s an E series . The active smart panel beeps red twice which apparently relates to ‘defrosting issue’ . I have pulled rear panel off like you have but how do I narrow down what issue is? With back panel off and I turn back on the f/f should fan start immediately or ?

Hi Ray, if this is a bad design then can you explain why and what brands have better designs. I had this fridge and the fan died but it also has a significant leak due to bubbling on the back of that freezer plates, which they said was not worth fixing. Please recommend be a good 400-450L brand ty

Hi I have a F&P RF522BLPX6 with freezer at the bottom. It's throwing a 17 error code which would suggest a problem with the freezer fan. The fan seems to be working though. This has been going on a while and have just been living with it but now the fridge is freezing food in the main compartment. I live in Auckland, any help would be greatly appreciated. Should I just replace the freezer fan and hope this fixes the problem? Thanks

Hey Everyone, the best way to defrost this is using a handheld steamer. Dirt devil and others make them. I watched the repairman use one on my fridge when he fixed fridge. The fridge is a terrible design, the clip that transfers the heat on to the pan drain is what causes all this.

I was thinking of buying an iphone after my iPhone 11 got locked. But after I meet *HAXTECHIE01* through the comment he fixed my iPhone for me and I am using it perfectly now✅✅

The Samsung rememdy is a clip which fastens onto the heater rod which in turn is heated and clip has a metal piece which protruds into the drain hole to keep it from freezing and thus create the blockage. probably the best fix is to cut away the portion where the drain hole is and make a panel to cover it. That way you don't have to take anything off other than whats is in the way. Read somewhere there is a class action suit for this lame ass design.

+Plano Person I did not get to fix this issue with my refrigerator even after reading your very detailed comments. I did not have the time to drain out all the ice that was probably in the draining area. I had let it go for so long without realizing what was happening inside the fridge. How long did it take you to defrost the condensation catch-all? I will need to do it when I have no food in the fridge or freezer!

I have the cover off and am waiting for the ice to melt. How big is the container that holds the drainage water? I feel ice upto the top of the hole.

Energy star rating means the defrost cycle is short. If it were longer, using more energy, (who cares if the fridge is freezing up so long as we have the "Energy Star".) If the defrost cycle were longer it would clear the ice as it should. The wire trick would also help but MORE HEAT would fix it for sure. How do we reset the defrost to stay on longer? Just found this about moving the defrost sensor. Samsung, @t

Great help!!!! Samsung was no help, while under warranty i called 3 times. The last time i called samsung to see if they found a fix. Samsung told me i was the first person with this problem and my warr ended last week. They offered to send a man to look at it for $200.00.

I have an SRF527, same issue. It lead to the evaporator getting iced over, the fan got jammed and now th fan motor is burnt out. Hopefully the fan control circuit isn't damaged. Screw Samsung. I will no longer buy their white goods, too many issues with them. Just overpriced junk.

can i just unplug the fridge for a few days? (gives me a chance to clean the fridge)
