I own a 93 with the 1kz-t, true Not fast but WHO Cares perfect daily, Always about 26-29 Miles per Gallon.
Very interesting and informative. You have done your research and it shows here. Smart and clever content. Loved it!
@@coryhiatt3244 Thank you! I find it all so interesting it's difficult to condense my writing into a manageable script. I'm glad that you enjoyed my video 😊
I don´t understand why this video has not gotten more views. No worries, it will come. Take a bit of time to get on the right side of the algorithm. The good news is the video was awesome, enjoyed it very much. The spec chart with the 20 second timer is MUCH appreciated, a really great feature that I have not seen before anywhere. Brilliant touch. Looking forward for more from this channel.
@@rafaellastracom6411 Thanks for the comment! I appreciate your feedback about the 20 second timer on the spec charts because I wasn't so certain about that decision while making this. I thought It might be helpful or it might be distracting. I'm glad it's something you liked! I'll keep it in mind for future videos. Thank you 😊
Man, I grew up lusting after this motorcycle. In my late twenties I bought a new ZX-12R and finally got to experience mind bending speed. Two wheels + horsepower is an unbeatable feeling.
It's the closest thing to flying aside from actually flying! I wish I would have paid more attention to this bike growing up. It wasn't until more recently that I discovered what a marvel these bikes really are.
I never really did “ride” a sport bike till I did a track day. Made me wonder what the hell I thought I was doing all of those years prior? Great video. Brought back many Great Memories! 👍
I had a really nice 90. Had it less than 2 weeks, got stolen.
@@JohnDough-yr2zt Noooooooooo 😭😭😭 That's terrible. I'm so sorry to hear that.
i bought a 2005 350z with a blown engine, i seen a 2004 engine on fb for a good price but im not sure if i can use the 2004 engine on the 2005 car can you help me please?
I don't believe that will be an issue unless the ecu is for a late model 05' anniversary edition which used the Rev-Up engine. Besides that, it should be fine to drop in. You should continue to do your research though because I'm not super knowledgeable on engine swaps. An 04' engine into an 05' body in this particular case should be simple and straightforward anyway. It's not some crazy, unheard of swap so I think you'll be fine.
Tengo una 95 y la amo con toda mi alma, la estoy modificando poco a poco solo falta más recursos 😂😢
On your 0-60 I was like man here goes that head gasket 😂
Great video. I've had a couple tacoma's now, but I am getting a 1993 4Runner soon from a family member. I'm really mechanical so not much worries me, but researching this car is seems like 99% of people are swapping in the 3.4. This video gave me some more faith that the 3.0 will treat me good. I already drive a slow car so the speed won;t bother me!
I remember the Road & Track issue on this car back then. I was selling Nissans at a high volume dealership in 1990. I know at that time, Nissan was kicking around the idea of a cheaper fixed roof Z32. I never thought they had any intention of making the Mid4..... They saw the writing on the wall with all of those cars pricing themselves out of existence.
I just got my 06 for 5K really well kept even while being used for drifting.
My best 1/4 mile time on my 84 v65 Sabre was 11.9. That bike hauled butt! 😂
ME LLENA DE ORGULLO MI HERMANAZO! Mas la manera apasionada que hablabas del tema! Te felicito mucho! Te veré con los grandes. Pero sino te veo, llegarás de todas formas! 🇵🇷♥️

Proud of u "brothaaa!" ❤ Te amo Kerwin. Me lleno de orgullo al verte hacer lo que te apasiona. Oro al Señor para que siga abriendo puertas de bendición. ❤
I’ve had mine for a year, 217k miles on it. The rear diff blew up, my transmission had a really bad leak, and my shocks were shot. After replacing everything and keeping up on maintenance she still runs beautifully and i love her to death. I can’t wait to keep upgrading parts! i’m currently saving up to drop a 350 small block or LS3 into that engine bay when it blows
Killed it dood!
@@andrewcrow9496 Thanks doood!
Yes!! The flames at night and the smell is what gets to me!! The akrapovic is the best!!
So proud!!! This was amazing to watch!! Definitely makes me want to buy an R1😃
Extremely interesting video, and fun to watch. Kind of amazing, actually, that such a thing ever happened. I think it's a shame they didn't work out the problems instead of just ending it. Why on earth did they allow spectators to stand right on the track anyway?! That's crazy! Of course there would be fatalities! I was curious about where the 3 remaining "Little Monsters" reside, and if any are in car museums where I could see one? And also, I agree, the 222D is a "handsome little monster"! I always liked the looks of the MR2. Thanks for creating another outstanding video. I look forward to more of these.
Officials attempted spectator control - kind of... But there were so many hundreds of thousands of spectators that they couldn't all be managed. I think one of the remaining ones is in Germany or it may have been moved to the UK. The other two are in Japan I think.
Just got me a 91 foe runna with manual hubs and a 22re 🗣️🗣️ it’s so SLOW but I love it!
It’s crazy to see people running out on the roads and playing chicken. Love the black Toyota cars. Such a unique look

This was insane! Made me feel like I was watching a documentary in a videogame! Amazing video! Loved it man!
@@knight_ikarus902 Thank you! It was such a wild time it almost doesn't seem real. Like a videogame story.
4x4x4 first in that era
Wow! I had no idea there were these races. Were they held in Europe or the US? Soooo dangerous with the spectators right on the track. Cars were super fast! I have been to a Nascar Cup series race which is tame compared to this.
@@coryhiatt3244 I know, these were wild races! These were held throughout Europe and parts of Africa.
It's OK, but compared to a VMAX1200 it's lacking a lot of character and muscle. VMAX is still up there with modern cruisers.
@@jamesc6363 Ah, I made a video all about the wild VMAX! I know exactly what you mean. You should check out that video if you haven't seen it already 😊
Group B was mental. But i cant decide who was crazier...the drivers of group B cars, or the spectators that would stand in the middle of the track untill the very last second!
@@Whyteeford Right! Almost like everyone that participated had a death wish.
Quirks notwithstanding this is awesome bike. #5 Change the bars #4 Change the exhaust #3 Replace the blinkers (super cheap and easy) #2 It's not that bad to work on but I hear ya #1 Yes, oil flow to the heads is a problem but you address them pretty well Self-canceling turn signals are really handy. I'm surprised modern bikes don't have them.
Never heard bout it before Really cool car Thank you for the video!
Thank you!
Cool vid. Felt like I just took a trip down to Cali with you!
What mic setup do you use
I'm actually not using any media attachments. Just the regular mic on my GoPro 8 and 9. I'd like to get a good mic and accessories but that's for sometime in the future because money is very tight right now.
Im a senior motorcycle mechanic of 36 years and still currently work in a dealership as one...high zink oil or a zddp additive in every oil change will keep cams from scrubbing off..
Amazing video, one of my future cars (hopefully i will find a good one), btw on what camera did you record the footage on time 10:20 please? It looks so nostalgic and nice :)
@@xdvilo8632 Thank you! Those shots were filmed by me back in 2010 on a little handheld camcorder that recorded on little vhs looking tapes!
how tall are you if you don't mind me asking? just trying to get an idea of how i'd look on one when i decide to upgrade haha

Vmax (VMX-12) forever... ❤ Kowalski, Zagreb - CROATIA
thank you for making this, there like one decent video that showcases the 3rd gen vfr sound properly
I had one of these after owning an ‘86. “Gear driven cams” made my socks go up and down. Then I broke ranks and bought a 1999 ZX-9. Game over for me! I never looked back at the VFR. Heavy, under powered and unexceptional. Mine even had electrical problems! Pretty bike for its day though.
