You've shown how soft this scene is so well. I love the fact that even though Ody has just been through hell and back, he's literally JUST finished slaughtering over a hundred people in a berzerker fury, he's still able to be soft for his family- and here, you can feel that he still considers Athena family. And you know he'd be so grateful that she's looking after his boy. The damaged Quickthought realm was a perfect, heartbreaking touch. We can only imagine what it looked like before, but we know Ody would have seen it many times, and to see it this damaged is an excellent metaphor for her own injuries. Not to mention the fact that she's had her soul broken apart by guilt over leaving Ody and pushing him to be so ruthless, and is only now managing to help anyone deal with the fallout. She needs Telemachus as much as he needs her. Maybe even more by now. I love the fact that she joined him at the end of this short.
